10 CHAPTER 10: REWARDS

Painting, music appreciation (piano, violin, and others), pottery, tea ceremony skills, cooking, and any other skills that will help one daily are examples of skills provided by the system.

This was her first time receiving such a skill, and she was really looking forward to it. She missed out on a lot of opportunities to learn because she was spoiled as a child and rebellious until she was old.

She agreed to retrieve the reward and rubbed her hands anxiously, praying that she would get something that would really help her right now.

She certainly wasn't disappointed when she saw the skill she received; she adored it - foreign language skill.

This ability will allow the host to instantly learn one foreign language. Sarah did not need to spend years learning how to pronounce, write, and speak. All she had to do was to use this skill, and she'd be speaking fluently like a native.

Sarah was overjoyed; language barriers were no laughing matter. Many businesses failed because the parties could not communicate with one another. There have been numerous instances where an interpreter has caused more harm than good due to greed.

Instead of translating the correct content, the translator could be devious and report incorrectly.

Sarah was fluent in her Laswait vernacular languages as well as English, the universal language used by most countries to communicate with one another.

However, English was not the only major language spoken around the world. There were so many beautiful languages out there, and if Sarah hadn't been dimwitted and incapable of learning more, she would be fluent in several.

Sarah decided to learn a language from a country on the continent of Eastern Idian. That country was rich in wonderful things, such as gold and gems, which could be easily purchased on the streets. Anything can be purchased as long as one has money.

She wanted to return to this country and enjoy herself without having her conversation ruined because she couldn't communicate well with the people there.

And because the country was wealthy, she wanted to go there and promote her high-end beauty cream, which would be quite costly.

Sarah wasted no time and immediately applied the skill to her. She googled a familiar video that introduced the wonders of this particular country in the native language to put herself to the test, and she was astounded by what happened.

Sarah could hear everything perfectly without looking at the subtitles; it was as if someone had implanted a translating chip inside her head, and the sensation was thrilling.

Sarah didn't let herself get too excited and quickly checked her points balance. She had a lot of points, particularly in the health department. There weren't many lust points because she avoided being intimate with someone she didn't like.

Sarah intended to groom O'Neal into the best man in the room, or at the very least, someone who walks with confidence. She wasn't about to let O'Neal or any other boy she set her sights on walk away after getting into her bed.

She promised herself she would not let that happen. She failed to earn and win that person's heart three years ago. She became a loser, was taken advantage of and lost everything.

She didn't want to lose; she wasn't going to lose, and if she couldn't get it this time, she'd rather destroy it. She didn't mind becoming a villain; back then, she was just cannon fodder who foolishly walked into a well-planned trap, and her demise benefited someone else greatly.

Now that she was back, there was no way she was going to let those people live their lives as if they had never done anything wrong.

Sarah looked through the health department for some items that she could buy right now. Apart from that time, she hardly used her points, so she bought a purification potion to cleanse her body.

This gave her a purified body physique, which purifies anything useless in the system. Sarah never had to worry about gaining weight because of her physique.

She learned a lot on that island, and wasting time was not one of them. Every penny was worth it, which is why, before doing anything, she will always look for alternatives.

However, she will never be reckless when it comes to things that are important to her, such as her home or romantic life. She didn't want to be a nun; she had always loved men and nothing could stop her from doing so.

Finally, Sarah purchased a brain pill that stimulates the brain, causes one to think outside the box, and increases an individual's brain capacity.

Sarah wanted O'Neal to return to school, but she didn't believe the young man still had it, especially after being locked up in a facility that dealt with alcohol, drugs, and sex.

She put the pill in her storage ring and went downstairs for dinner because it was time.

Sarah didn't have the boring table manners rules that require one to remain silent while eating. So, while they were eating, she asked O'Neal several questions, to which he enthusiastically responded.

After dinner, Sarah and O'Neal went to the second floor's living room and had a lengthy discussion about O'Neal's future. O'Neal was eager to start school and knew exactly what he wanted to study.

The rest was up to Sarah, who decided to bring the young man to town the next day. At the same time, she will meet with some people and conduct some business.

Sarah drove her sturdy SUV to Belmore the next day after working out with O'Neal. The 20km was no longer so far away, especially with someone by her side.

On the way, Sarah and O'Neal discussed a variety of topics, the majority of which concerned O'Neal's future.

Sarah wasn't concerned about O'Neal not being accepted at a university because she has a system that allows her to cheat in many areas.

O'Neal's high school grades were adequate, but not exceptional.
