11- Disturbing News

Ayanakoji Pov:

Yato: I'm going to go, now that the roll call is done.

Hirata: Okay Fukazawa-kun, and have you found a good place to stay?

Yato: Oh yeah yeah don't worry I will stay at the

camp of the B-class so don't worry.

Hirata: Great take care and I see you tomorrow

Fukazawa-kun.

With a nod, Fukazawa started to leave but stopped before saying something to Horikita.

Ayanakoji: I'm too far to hear anything...

Horikita seems shocked at what he just said. Before she could answer him he was already gone in the forest.

The atmosphere in the camp was still tense despite the fact that the 'culprit' had been excluded from the camp. The boys and the girls still do not speak between them except Kushida who was trying to cheer everyone up. Horikita and Sakura interact sometimes with me but I was probably the only boy who they could talk to…

Having nothing else to do I decided to make the campfire for tonight.

Ayanakoji: Oh it's more fun than I thought…

Horikita: You seem to be having fun there Ayanakoji-kun.

Does I was looking so happy?

Ayanakoji: Oh Horikita, I didn't see you a lot today, what have you done?

Horikita: It's none of your business. Anyways, I will go to bed right away. See you tomorrow Ayanakoji-kun.

She left and returned to her tent without waiting for my answer...

Ayanakoji: With her fever, it's really not easy for

her...

After an hour that Fukazawa left the camp, Ibuki who was sitting away from the others got up and approached Hirata.

Ibuki: Excuse me but I would like to talk about something with you.

The girls who were chatting with him seemed

annoyed by Ibuki. But Hirata ignored them to listen what Ibuki wanted to tell him.

Hirata: Oh Ibuki-san, can I help you with something?

Ibuki: Well I made up my mind and I want to

withdraw from this exam. So I'm going to get back to the ship right away.

Hirata: Huh wait this can't wait until tomorrow? It's already getting dark, it would be dangerous to go back to the ship alone.

Ibuki: Don't worry I know the way to the ship. I really want to go back with my class finally.

Hirata: Well I can't stop you after all. But

someone accompany you at least.

Kushida: Oh I just heard your conversation. It would be a pleasure for me to accompany Ibuki-san!

Hirata was surprised by the proposal made by

Kushida. After all, Kushida suddenly joined their

conversation... but Ibuki does not seem in any way surprised or shocked by Kusihda's intervention.. as if she knew that Kushida was going to offer her help.

Hirata: Oh Thank you Kushida well then I have no problem with that so... but it would be better if someone else could go with you too.

Hirata then asked the class if anyone else would go with them even though it was getting late. A lot of people were already in bed but in the people who were still awake, Ike raise his hand to offer his help. Probably to get closer to Kushida. Hirata accepted and let them go...

I decided to go to sleep...

Time Skip

Ayanakoji Pov:

I look at my watch and it shows that it is almost 6 a.m. The others should be about to get up so I decided to get out of the tent. The first thing I noticed when I got outside of the tent was the ground... it rained last night because the ground and tree were wet... I look at the sky and saw that there were a lot of gray clouds...

Ayanakoji: it will surely rain today too...

We were now on the 6th day of the exam and

throughout the week we have been lucky on the

weather. But today it will surely rain hard...

Some of my classmates start to come out of their tents and get ready for the day... Hirata and some other people take a look at our provisions and made a final observation of our points during this exam…

Hirata: We had some problems but if we continue like this we should be able to do well during this exam.

Indeed with the incident that happen yesterday, we could gave suffered greater damage to the class but Fukazawa probably had decided to play the 'culprit' to prevent the class from being destroyed…

Hirata gathered everyone who was awake to givethem a task before it start to rain. I was placed in the group whose task is to go search for some fruit to be sure to not run out of supplies. My group was composed of Horikita, Sakura, and Yamauchi.

We were close to a river looking for provisions..

Yamauchi was trying to get closer to Sakura's without success and for Horikita, her condition does not seem to have improved since yesterday but she continued to act like she was good... she was really stubborn after all... Today was really going to be a crucial day for this exam so she probably don't want to do

anything at the camp...

Then suddenly I heard someone running toward us...

2?2: Ahh huff.. Horikita-san huff... Ayanakoji-kun... I'm glad to find you huff..

Yamauchi: Hey Kushida-chan!

It was Kushida who just had arrived. She seems really out of breath, she must have run a lot.

Yamauchi was about to say something but he was interrupted by Horikita.

Horikita: Kushida-san? What are you doing here alone and why are you out of breath?

Horikita never wanted to trust Kushida... Since the beginning of the year, Kushida tried many times to become friends with Horikita but she refused each time...

The tone of her voice she had just used proved that she still didn't trust her today…

Kushida: Huff... Please all of you need to listen to what I have to say...

Yamauchi: Huh what the matter Kushida-chan you seem serious?

Kushida: There is something I need to tell you about Fukazawa-kun...

The first person to react was Horikita

Horikita: Huh? What is it, Kushida? What happens to Fukazawa-kun?

Horikita was worried and asked several questions at Kushida. I don't say anything and wait for Kushida's answer...
