73 Chapter 73

[What's wrong darling? I'm concerned about you!]

Syl scowled and threw his phone on his bed without answering.

A few days later.

It was finally time for the exams.

Syl entered the room with a genuine smile on his face.

He was humming to himself as the test was handed out.

He started writing the test along with everyone else.

Eventually the English test came and Syl caught a fearful look on Kushida's face.

After the exam. "How was it?"

"Great!"

"It was… okay."

"I probably passed."

A bunch of people started talking about their experiences.

Kushida walked over to Syl. "Did you do well darling?"

Syl smiled. "How could I not when you already gave me all the answers before the test?"

Kushida giggled happily. "Anything for you, darling."

Syl chuckled. "What about you angel? How was it?"

Kushida pouted. "Well… the English test was wrong…"

Syl shrugged. "Was it?"

Kushida nodded. "I know you didn't ask for the questions because you're so good at it, but that bitch Ichinose gave me the wrong questions…"

Syl chuckled. "Who cares, it's not like we'll fail."

Kushida laughed. "Right? My darling is the best at english!"

'If that slut Ichinose was after MY darling… I'll destroy her.' Kushida silently thought.

Kushida clung to Syl and the two left class together.

Chabashira, who was collecting the tests, looked over a few secretly.

She smiled when she saw one. "So that's your plan? Good."

The next day.

The results were about to be posted.

Chabashira walked to the front of the class.

"Good job on all of your exams everyone." Chabashira honestly congratulated the entire class.

"This time you guys did much better than past years on this exam, honestly for a class D to be doing this well is unheard of. You guys are certainly the first. Because of this, I would like to congratulate all of you."

Ike gasped. "I think it's raining upwards! Chabashira is being nice!"

"HAhaha!" The class burst into laughter.

Ike smiled, proud of his own achievement and making the class laugh so hard.

Chabashira sighed. "Yes, Ike. I am saying congratulations. Perhaps it is because you failed and this will be your last time in the classroom."

Ike froze like a statue. "Haha! You joke too much sensei! I didn't fail! Right?"

Chabashira responded mysteriously. "Who knows?"

Ike started sweating. "Wait, I didn't actually fail, right?"

Chabashira ignored him. "Now, as for your results against Class B. You all put up a valiant effort…" Chabashira pulled out a sheet and put it up on the board. "Unfortunately, Class B was one step ahead of you."

The scores were posted. Class D had done fairly well, however Class B's marks were nearly perfect.

"No way." Horikita mumbled as she looked over at Kushida.

Kushida smiled and waved at her, acting innocent.

Horikita grit her teeth. 'How?? I submit the questions early! Even Chabashira confirmed that I was the first to submit questions! What did she do?'

Ayanokoji looked at Horikita with interest. 'This could be good for her, no… our class's growth.'

Syl smiled and put his feet up on his desk as he leaned back.

Chabashira pretended not to see as she continued on.

"Unfortunately you guys didn't win this time, however you still have over 600 class points."

Ike called out. "We're so far behind now!"

"Shut up, Ike." Horikita said. Then she raised her hand.

"Yes, Horikita." Chabashira said.

"Can I look at the questions we handed over to Class B. I think they would be good review notes."

"Didn't you guys write them yourselves? You should already have access to them, no?" Chabashira replied.

"... I lost my notebook." Horiktia lied.

Chabashira sighed. "600 class points is how many private points per month? And you can't afford a new notebook? Or a computer so you don't lose notes?"

"I didn't think I'd lose it…" Horikita replied.

Kushida chimed in. "Don't worry! I still have mine! I'll give you the questions! No need to bother sensei!"

Horikita furrowed her brows. "No, I don't want to trouble a classmate, the school should have all the questions anyway. Right?"

Chabashira looked at the two. "Come see me after class, we can talk about this more later."

Horikita nodded.

Chabashira then turned back to the class. "Then, as the best class D with 600 points-"

Ike interrupted her. "Sensei! We already know we have over 600 class points! Why do you keep saying that?"

A few people in the class froze as they connected the dots.

"No way… It can't be… not again." Hirata muttered in a cold sweat as fear crept up on his face.

"Fufufufu. Exactly, that's the amount of class points it takes to save 2 people." Koenji said as he checked himself out.

Horikita stood up abruptly. "Did I… fail?"

She looked over at Kushida hatefully.

Kushida smiled in return and mouthed. 'Your fault.'

Horikita sat back down angrily.

"T-that's wrong. Isn't it?" Ike asked nervously.

Chabashira spoke up. "That's right, one group, two people in this class failed to meet the requirements. They were the only two people in the grade to fail this exam."

Ike jumped up in a panic. "It wasn't me right?! It had to be someone else! Like Ayanokoji and Sato! Or Or OR Anyone else!"

The rest of the class started panicking and accusing others of failing.

"Please be seated everyone." Chabashira said.

Hirata stood up and raised his hand.

Chabashira sighed. "Yes?"

"Can we use our class points to save them? It's 300 class points a person right? Then we can save everyone if we just pay! Right guys?"

Everyone who was confident in their results was quiet. Looking away.

Ike stood up. "Good idea! Right guys?"

A couple other people who were concerned about their marks chimed in and agreed.

Chabashira sighed. "You can all talk about this later."

"Right? We don't even know who it is." Kei pointed out.

"It doesn't matter! We have to save them!" Hirata shouted, causing everyone to be shocked.

Chabashira sighed and went to put up a second poster of the grades.

"The duo who fail this special exam…" She hung the poster and circled a group.

"... Is Kushida and Syl. You will both be expelled."
