Shi wei lian ( The Test ) Part 8

Deep within the body of a certain sturdy figure, there exist a square shaped object(seal).

Somewhere within the seal stood two figures, which stood few meters apart. They are Feng Zhen and Shi Wei Lian.

Looking at the traumatized Feng Zhen, Shi Wei Lian shook her head helplessly.

' I shouldn't have told him' thought Shi Wei Lian as she sighed.

"Feng'er, come over here, it's time to do what we are here for" said Shi Wei Lian.

In response to Shi Wei Lian call, Feng Zhen still had his traumatized expression.

Even after Shi Wei Lian called to him, Feng Zhen was still traumatized.

"Feng'er!!" yelled Shi Wei Lian.

It wasn't until Shi Wei Lian yelled, that Feng Zhen came back to his senses.

'I-I still can't believe it' thought Feng Zhen in disbelief.

"Hah!" sighed Shi Wei Lian when she saw the disbelief expression on Feng Zhen.

"Anyway Feng'er, It's about time we do what we are here for" said Shi Wei Lian.

When Feng Zhen heard what Shi Wei Lian said, he took in a very deep breath.

"Okay" said Feng Zhen.

"Now sit cross-leg and close her eyes" said Shi Wei Lian.

Just as Shi Wei Lian instructed, Feng Zhen sat cross-legged in a lotus pose and closed his eyes.

Looking at Feng Zhen, who had a serious expression, Shi Wei Lian chuckled.

"Before, I begin the ritual. I would like to let you know that if the ritual ends in failure, you will die" whispered Shi Wei Lian.

'Did I just hear, D-D-Dieee' thought Feng Zhen.

"Wai-" said Feng Zhen, but before he could complete his statement, the scenery of the room changed with a chuckling fading voice saying, "Heheh... I wish you good luck....".

Suddenly, Feng Zhen found himself in a room filled with weapons. (Weaponry)

"Hmmm!!" exclaimed Feng Zhen in surprise.

Looking at the different weapons in the room, Feng Zhen was startled.

"Sword, Dagger, Crossbow, Halberd, Spear, War hammer, Mace, Battle Axe, Long bow, arrows, Lance. Wow! There are a lot of weapons here that even I don't know their names... But why am I in a room full of weapons." said Feng Zhen with a puzzled expression.

Then he walked to the corner of the room and picked a spear.

"Well, I have picked a weapon. Now what" said Feng Zhen.

The moment he said that, the scenery changed again.

"Haaah! I tried of all this... Now and then, Here and there... What's with the change of scene-" casually said Feng Zhen, but he couldn't complete his words the moment he saw what was in front of him.

"Holy Demon!!" exclaimed Feng Zhen with his eyes open wide.

Feng Zhen wasn't startled by the flames that surrounded him or the heat of flames, he was actually startled by the being, standing before him.

Standing in front of Feng Zhen is Feng Zhen with closed eyes. Well, to be specific, his image or another Feng Zhen.

Just to clear his doubt of what he was staring at, Feng Zhen closed his eyes and rubbed his eyes with his with the back of his hand.

After checking if his sight wasn't deceiving him, he said in amazement, "It's me... Wow, look at my body... Is this how I really look".

(Note: I will be referring to the image of Feng Zhen as Feng Zhen 2)

Suddenly the Feng Zhen 2 opened his eyes which wee burning in flames.

"Wow! There are flames in his eyes..." muttered Feng Zhen as he held his jaw with his left hand while staring at Feng Zhen 2.

'Now what...' pondered Feng Zhen.

Suddenly Fen Zhen 2 raised his right arm below his shoulder level.

"Hmmm!!" exclaimed Feng Zhen in surprise when he saw Feng Zhen 2 raising his right arm.

It wasn't until then did Feng Zhen realized that there were bandages wrapped around the forearms of Feng Zhen 2.

'Just bandages... If my thought about why I was first sent to a weaponry is correct, then my task is to defeat this guy, but he's unarmed' thought Feng Zhen while staring at bandages on Feng Zhen 2.

~Buzz~ ~Buzz~

Staring at the bandages wrapped on the forearms of Feng Zhen 2, Feng Zhen had an instinctive sense of dread.

Even after staring at the bandages on Feng Zhen 2 for a while, Feng Zhen found nothing special about the bandage.

'Something doesn't seem right about that bandage' thought Feng Zhen.

Unexpectedly, Feng Zhen 2 who had an indifferent expression suddenly smiled coldly.

Mystically, the bandage on the forearms of Feng Zhen 2 suddenly turned into a chain burnings in flames.

"Did he just sim-" said Feng Zhen, but his words were cut off when he saw something speedingly heading straight towards him.

*Pump* *Pump* *Pump* *Pump* *Pump* *Pump*

The heart beat of Feng Zhen started beating very fast...

Looking at the incoming chain burning in flames, Feng Zhen tried to dodge, but too bad it was too late.

Wrap...

The burning chain wrapped around his neck.

"Ahh!!".

"Dammit! I knew I should have trust my instinct" muttered Feng Zhen in regret.
