Black Rock Kingdom

It had been a few days since the trio had arrived at the world of Ventolin. As usual, they had first landed in a forest close to a city. The forest was larger than all of the forests the trios had ever been in and was filled with tier 1 beasts. The inner regions had tier 2 beasts and the very core of the forest range was even ruled by a tier 3 beast! The trio had left the forest after slaughtering a tier 2 magical beast and walked to the nearest city. They were going to use the beast carcass and parts to gain some money to buy a map of the world.

Their plan went off without a hitch and soon they were in possession of a world map and also a few books about common knowledge of the world. The shopkeeper of the bookstore didn't find such a thing unusual since the trio were all still kids. The only queer thing was how beautiful Delilah and Lucius were, but as an old man, it would be inappropriate for him to comment on a kids beauty. They were met with friendly gazes and smiles from the gate guards to the random passer-byes because of their youth, beauty and refined clothing. They were merely thought of as some adventuring rich kids and thus were able to complete their jobs at a smooth pace.

The world of Ventolin was quite a peculiar world and was shaped in the strangest way that Delilah had ever seen. As a bookworm, Delilah had looked over many maps of higher tier worlds that were stored in the library but she had never seen one like Ventolin's. Ventolin was a world shaped like a flower. There was a core, circular region and then four petals that were north, south, west and east. The core region was called the Nine Palace Holy land as it was owned by nine different overlord level powers and was the place with the highest qi density and thus highest amounts of resources. The 3 petals in the north, east and west were all pretty much equal in qi density and resources after that but the south petal was weaker than the other 3 petals and was thus called the Southern Desolate Petal. The trio were currently in that Southern Desolate Petal.

This explained why the trio had felt that the qi density was only at the level of a mid grade tier 3 world at best when they landed. The petals' qi was spread in such a way that the closer you got to the core region, the higher the qi density. So as they were currently in the middle of the southern petal, they were in a consequently lower qi density area. This was however, in accordance with the trios plans and saved them the trouble of teleporting to the southern region and getting another map. As the map they bought was from the southern region already, the map was highly detailed in the southern petal and only showed a rough outline of the other 4 regions. The southern petal was labelled with key locations, powerful sect locations and all the rivers and mountains. The other petals however were merely labelled in big black text by which petal they were.

The trios plan was fairly simple actually and was easily accomplishable by even kids like them. They would begin at the weakest spot of this world and then work upwards from there, conquering the world as they went along. Their current goal was to conquer the entire southern petal!

The first thing they did was to jump back into the Garden and input the coordinates for the backside tip of the southern petal, the place recognised as the weakest region of the Southern Desolate Petal, the Black Rock Kingdom! It only took them a few minutes and they were already teleported into the forest near the Black Rock kingdom. The Black Rock kingdom was a seafront kingdom and was considered as the end of the world for many who lived in the southern petal. Those who lived there were considered as the most unfortunate people in the southern petal but no one ever considered helping them out. This was simply because they didn't dare!

The only people who even knew of the Black Rock kingdoms existence were the two powers located beyond the forest that the trio were currently in. The Green Hound Bandits and the City of Oswock. They were separated from the Black Rock kingdom by a forest aptly named as the Black Rock forest that was filled with tier 1 beasts and controlled by a few tier 2 beast brothers. The Green Hound Bandits were headed by a tier 2 assassin and the Oswock City Lord was a tier 2 warrior too but they couldn't breach past the tier 2 brothers. Even if they could though, it was highly unlikely that the Bandits would be going to help the kingdoms commoners but instead rob them! The Oswock City Lord spent most of his time battling against the Green Hound Bandits and so never considered helping out the citizens of the Black Rock Kingdom either.

The Black Rock Kingdom couldn't really be called a kingdom though, as it was only the size of a decent city. Even on Hazmit there were cities bigger than this kingdom and they had been at war for a 1000 years! The kingdom would only be considered a small sized city at best in the middle lands of the southern petal, let alone the other 4 regions! However, it was called a kingdom because it was controlled by a monarchy and reigned over by the self anointed Black Rock king.

The trio had originally teleported to the Black Rock Forest to sneak attack the Green Hound Bandits and claim all their resources and currency before infiltrating and taking over the City of Oswock but with Lucius' Divine Eyes bloodline ability he noticed the kingdom and signalled to the others to look over with some binoculars that they had gotten from Hazmit. The binoculars weren't as powerful as Lucius Divine Eyes but they did the trick and the trio were able to see a walled city filled with dilapidated houses surrounding a palace of marble and glass. The houses were tightly packed and layered in an orderly fashion, looking more like slums than a living area. The marble palace was adjacent to a huge coliseum. It was a strangely built city.

The trio were intrigued by this but had already come to some obvious conclusions, there was a tyrannical leader that lived in luxury who used his citizens like slaves so he could live a better life. They lived in filth and squalor while he was a king in a palace. Looking at the coliseum they assumed that this man made his people fight in the ring for his own amusement. Delilah was beginning to get really angry but Lucius kept a calm face as he looked away from the city and to the sides of the land. He saw that at the edge of the continent they were on, there were many people walking in an orderly line. They were carrying bags over their shoulders and dropped the contents out into a container at the back of a carriage. The carriage was then driven away towards the city before returning to the site after dropping off the cargo. Next to the line of cargo carriers were a line of men and women mining rock out of the ground.

Lucius looked to his side and then hugged Delilah from behind, he reminded her that they needed to be quite and careful with their actions. Currently, they had the strength to annihilate the Black Rock kingdom and the surrounding cities but after that they couldn't do anything. If a few tier 3 experts hunted them down, they would only be able to escape to the Garden. If that happened, the angered experts would slaughter all these commoners who would be considered as their people by then. What they needed to do was to create a force while enhancing their own strengths quietly! They needed to swallow up all the surrounding powers rapidly before anyone could notice and develop enough to be seen as enough of a threat that the remaining powers wouldn't think to devour them for themselves.

"I'm getting really pissed Luci, tell us your plan so we can kill that bastard ruler already!" Delilah said while clenching her fists.

"We need to be silent and effective, we need to bring all the homeless, the disabled, the orphaned and train them. After they have enough strength, we will begin to train the men and woman. After that we will stage a coup on a day of significance, we will crush this kingdom from its inside and take over seamlessly. No one will escape and no one will spread the word of what happens!"
