"Miaomiao, there was nothing I could do," Xu Jingming said, his gaze fixed on his wife. "This situation required a firm hand."

"I get it," Li Miaomiao grumbled. "Those five are too greedy. I made it clear they weren't welcome on Earth, yet they still came. They need to learn a lesson."

Li Miaomiao didn't have much of a relationship with her five younger siblings. Born more than a hundred years after her, she'd never spent much time with them but took care of them out of duty to her parents.

Over the years, they had caused her nothing but trouble.

"How many can face death?" Xu Jingming asked. "A few elders have become Origin lifeforms through external means, and now, others will want the same. We have to be resolute and stop that notion."

Xu Jingming had seen many of his great-grandsons grow up, but none were entitled to become Origin lifeforms through external means.
