Throughout his childhood, Líu Haoyu was treated with respect, due to him being the former sect leader's son, but this changed when he and the disciples his age started cultivating.
He was allowed to start cultivating when he was nine instead of the regular age of ten, all the children saw him as a god in their eyes due to his becoming a cultivator.
But one by one, the children surpassed him in cultivation.
As his fellow disciples became 4th Layer Spirit-Rank he stayed at the 3rd Layer Spirit Rank.
In the Tíanyun continent, Cultivation Ranks consisted of Spirit-rank, Origin-rank, Profound-rank, and Heavenly-Rank, after surpassing the lifespan of a mortal, Martial Lords could live up to two hundred and fifty years, and Martial Kings could live up to five hundred years. Each Rank consisted of seven layers, spanning from one to seven.
When Líu Haoyu became a 5th Layer Spirit-rank Cultivator, his fellow disciples were approaching the Origin-rank the disciples adopted him a nickname, "Trash Young Lord"
Finally, at his present age of fourteen, he has finally cultivated to 7th-Layer Spirit Rank.
As Liu Haoyu walks to the library, disciples stare in pity and make fun of him.
"It's sad, even the generation under him surpassed him, he truly is the Trash Young Lord," said a junior brother.
"Honestly, I don't understand why the elders still feed him expensive elixirs, only if they gave them to Zhú Tianyu, the Head Disciple, and the Head Elder's Grandson, he could almost be a heavenly-rank Cultivator." A disciple replied.
'Why was I born this way, my father was known to have the legendary Martial Lord Qi Veins, but I was born with Spirit Qi Veins, the lowest quality known to man.'
Liu Haoyu travels to the library every day to browse the techniques and try to find a solution to his terrible physique, but to no avail, he has looked over every book in the library and none of the techniques can cultivate his Qi Veins.
