Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor. 43. I'm no longer weak

After the dungeon raid, Silas decided to leave all the treasures with them, as he already had a lot of money.

They were shocked to see him as one of the richest players. Of course, this mysterious Silverfang was still number one.

He headed towards the third land, taking a teleportation channel in the first land where he was before.

After arriving, he immediately went towards the entrance area and into the market.

'Hm? Shouldn't it be around here?' Silas looked around and then walked forward.

He soon arrived at a shop and saw a little boy and his mother. It was the boy he saved from the city's guards a while ago.

The boy soon noticed him. With a smile, the boy ran over to him.

"Mister!" The little child came over, and Silas let the boy hug him.

"How have you been? I forgot to ask your name last time," Silas smiled at him.

"Tian, Tian Ling."

The boy was really happy to see Silas, as he had smiles all over his face.

"My name is Silas."

"Ah, Mister Silas, come meet my mother," Tian said as he grabbed Silas' hand and pulled him.

Silas gazed at the woman who had been looking at him suspiciously, and he only smiled at her.

"It's alright, madam. I was the one that got beaten by that cultivator the other day." He smiled, and the woman nodded with a stunned expression.

She looked to be in her late fifties, and her hair was already turning greyish. He looked at the fresh fruits she had in their store and nodded.

'These people are only trying to live a normal life. If I hadn't stepped in that day, this woman and the child would have died just for that man's satisfaction.' His lips twitched, and he put a hand over them.

"Thank you, young man, for saving us the other day. My son and I owe you our lives." The woman got up and bowed to him, and Silas looked around in embarrassment.

"You don't have to bow; it's alright," Silas could only say.

"If you don't mind, may we know your name?"

"Silas."

"Well then, Young Master Silas, why don't you come in and let us treat you to something good?" The woman said with a warm smile, and he could only agree.

He didn't do much there other than stay and eat. The young boy wanted to play with Silas afterward.

"Hey, Little Tian, what do you think about the heavens? The way it is, what do you think about it?" Silas couldn't help but ask as he sat beside the child.

"Well... I don't know. I don't like cultivators coming to bully my mum all the time. All the cultivators behave all mighty and treat the rest of us like trash. If I have the opportunity, in the future, if I'm able to become a strong cultivator, I'll make sure to change the rules."

Seeing the little boy clench his little fists made Silas relax and look up to the sky.

'This game is really fun. I can't help but think that the people are all real. But then, if they have been made with... uhhh... With... What's that thing called again? Artificial intelligence?' Silas facepalmed as he didn't even remember a word he learned a while ago.

'Well, if they are made with that sort of thing to copy how real humans would work, it would be awesome,' he smiled to himself.

The day was already getting dark, and Silas decided to finally leave. After bidding the mother and the boy farewell, he made his way out of the third land so that he could head over to Juliet.

'Juliet must have been waiting for me since this afternoon. I have to get there fast,' Silas thought, and then he walked towards the entrance of the third land, where he saw a bunch of soldiers and carefully made plans.

He looked at the guards there and smiled before he stopped releasing his chi, then dismissed the sword into the ring.

He walked past the guards, and they looked at him with disgust.

"Hey, you!"

Silas smiled as he was called after all, and he turned around.

"Don't you have manners? When you see your superior, you bow. Now get on your knees, worthless dog." One of the soldiers scorned him, and he stood straight, folding his arms and smiling at them.

The captain of the guards stood up as he saw this and walked towards Silas.

"He said you should kneel, dog!" The captain clenched his fists, and Silas' lips twitched as he remembered this particular man.

"Wait a minute. I remember you. You were the one who tried to save Tian and his mother. How unlucky of you to cross paths with me again." Seeing the captain smile, the other soldiers quietly scorned him.

"Haha, he may have good looks, but he's in for it now. The captain is angry."

"A commoner with no talent whatsoever at such a ripe age. He might even be better off marrying a rich lady."

"Yeah, but his life is about to be cut short, hahaha..."

The soldiers laughed at the situation, and then the captain walked forward and looked Silas in the eye.

"You better kneel, in three seconds," the captain said to Silas, and Silas put his mouth to the man's ear.

"Cut the crap and start harassing me already," Silas whispered, and the captain threw a punch immediately towards his stomach.

Silas didn't fret and only sidestepped at such a quick and precise time. It was like his body was on the opposite side of a magnet, which repelled him from the palm.

He punched the captain in the stomach, and the man fell down.

Immediately, the entire surroundings went quiet as they saw their captain on the ground, bruised and battered.

"I am no longer weak. You, however, are weak." Silas' voice was thick, and he kicked the captain of the guards continuously, even stepping on him hard sometimes.

Silas soon stopped, and as he glanced towards the guards, they all scurried away to escape from him.
