Covering his daughter tightly, Genji turned his daughter away from the cold wind and protected her from getting too cold and getting a fever.
Walking a couple of miles, Genji began to feel his body growing tired. Without the aid of chi, his body naturally held less energy and stamina.
Feeling his eyelids growing heavy, Genji began to fear for the worst.
Yet, just as he was beginning to worry about the wellbeing of his daughter, he could feel something different in the air. A large amount of Chi was approaching him from the front and he focused on the feeling.
He furrowed his eyebrows and Genji tried his best with improving his Chi sense. Although he couldn't use his own Chi, Genji was just lucky enough to still be capable of slightly controlling the Chi in air.
As he continued focusing on improving his Chi sense, Genji could feel the world slowly taking shape within his head before he could vaguely see a figure far into the distance. Focusing on the figure, Genji slowly found out that it was two beings, one was a person who was riding what seemed to be a large animal.
Gritting his teeth. Genji bit the bullet and took a step forward before yelling to said figure, "Save my daughter! She's still young!"
Although Genji held no trust in strangers, this was all he could do now that he was at his very weakest.
Just as those words came out of his mouth, Genji suddenly felt his head grow heavy and his eyelids shut close before beginning to feel his consciousness slip away.
Thud!
Falling down on the snow, Genji had luckily already prepared for such an event and had his arms outstretched so that his daughter wouldn't be hurt.
Silently, in the freezing cold, Genji lay there, holding his daughter in his hands with arms stretched out.
The silhouette in the distance approached rapidly after hearing Genji's shout. As the figure came closer, it was revealed to be a woman and her ride a mix of a dog and polar bear.
"Are you alright?!"
Jumping off her animal, the woman ran to Genji and his daughter and gave them a look before bending some water from the snow and using her healing abilities on the little girl first before using it on Genji.
Frowning, the girl didn't sense that either of them were injured or hurt. She turned to look at her ride before sighing.
"Well Naga, looks like our stroll will have to end here…"
Naga looked at the woman as if trying to show pity to it's master/friend.
The woman, Korra, turned around and kicked the snow in annoyance.
"Dang it…!"
Huffing, Korra grabbed the little girl and carried her before riding Naga, her pet Polar Bear Dog.
Looking at Genji lying down on the ground, Korra smirked and patted Naga, "Come on Naga, offer a helping mouth."
Rrr…
Naga grumbled and opened it's mouth before carefully biting on Genji's clothes and dragging him to where Korra was coming from, the Southern Water Tribe.
Whilst on their way to the Southern Water Tribe, Korra grumbled.
All within reason as well.
As the Avatar, she had to study and master all the four elements in order to grow stronger and be able to protect whoever may need protection and be able to establish a balance. Due to this, she is often forced to constantly train to prepare for such a future.
And as a person, Korra was tired of being confined in the Southern Water Tribe. She enjoyed taking her strolls and the little freedom she is given at the end of the day.
Now that freedom was ruined by Genji's appearance here.

"Korra! Where did you think you were going?!"
At a fort made to train the Avatar, located in an undisclosed location in the Southern Water Tribe, Korra returned and was soon met with a couple of old men who came out to lecture her.
"I was just out for a stroll," Korra said as she glared at the old men directly in their eyes without any fear and more of an opposition.
"Hmph, your training will be doubled," said one of the old men as they turned around to walk away.
Watching them walk away with anger, Korra turned around and threw her hands up in the air.
"UGGHH!!"
Korra groaned and grumbled in anger before shadowboxing the air in order to vent her anger and stress.
"Korra."
Pausing, Korra stopped what she was doing and turned to look at who was speaking to her. Her eyes were not looking at the speaker with anger and more with respect and care.
"Korra, you shouldn't stay out too long. You worry the others," the person who appeared said, looking at Korra with a small smile on her face.
Frowning, Korra complained, "But Katara, those old timers don't leave me alone! They even doubled my training and I don't have any time to do my own stuff anymore. I can't even bend without their supervision because they're afraid."
Katara, the old woman who arrived, sighed and shook her head, "They aren't afraid, they're worried about the strength of your bending. As the Avatar, your bending skills are much stronger than most benders."
"Hmm…"
Turning her head to the side, Korra pouted and grumbled.
Looking at Korra grumble, Katara sighed and asked, "Where's the man who is hurt?"
Korra sighed and said, "He's over here."
Seeing Korra lead the way, Katara followed behind her and soon arrived before Korra's home, which was situated on the left side of the fort.
Entering Korra's house, Katara was led into the guest room.
Inside the guest room, Katara took notice of a small figure on the rug covered floor playing with a polar bear dog plush toy.
"What a cute little thing." Katara said gently as she smiled at the little girl who looked at her in curiosity.
Katara waved at the little girl before turning to Korra who also waved at the little girl.
"What is wrong with her?"
Korra turned to look at Katara and said, "I don't know. She doesn't seem to understand anything I say and acts a lot like a baby. But she does seem to learn pretty fast. However, she isn't the reason I called you here for…"
"Then who's my patient…?"
Katara pulled her attention from Katara and the little girl before scanning the room. She looked around and soon her gaze fell on the bed before her body suddenly shuddered.
"AH!"
"Woah!"
Korra stumbled back after hearing Katara yell in surprise. She turned to look at Katara, confused and shocked at Kataras's yell.
"He's alive! He… he really didn't die!"
"You know him?"
Korra turned to look at Katara in surprise before turning to look at Genji with a curious gaze.
"He's… an important person…" Katara muttered.
"Important?"
Turning to look at Genji, Korra looked at him with a confused expression on her face, wondering how Genji could be someone important.
After finding out that Genji was alive, Katara turned to look at the little girl and her eyes lit up in curiosity.
'Is she… Suki's child?' Katara wondered as she approached the little girl.
The little girl looked up at Katara and curiously watched her approach. Tilting her head to the side, the little girl wondered who this person was.
"What's your name, you cute thing?"
Katara wondered out loud as she gently grabbed the little girl and lifted her up in the air.
'Gah?"
The little girl tilted her head in confusion, making Katara smile.
Watching everything from the side, Korra approached Genji on the bed before thinking to herself.
'I hope they leave my house soon.'

With Genji in a deep sleep, Korra and Katara had been taking care of him and his daughter who had no name yet.
Like this, two whole weeks passed by in the blink of an eye.
The day Genji finally opened his eyes.
"Ugh… I feel tired…" mumbled Genji as he struggled to open his eyes.
His body felt heavy and his mind groggy, like if he hadn't slept in days and only managed to sleep for an hour.
Despite opening his eyes, his surroundings were completely dark.
'Right. I'm blind now,' Genji thought as he tried to call up the system.
A second passes by and Genji begins to frown.
The system didn't appear and he continued calling fo
Utilizing hsi newly learnt skill Chi sense, Genji soon understood where he was and he smiled as he sensed the small figure lying asleep right next to him.
He could sense a small smile on her little face that just simply made Genji feel like his tiredness was washing away.
"You little thing~"
Muttered Genji with a smile as he brought her up into his arms, softly cradling her.
Genji stood up with his daughter in his arms and explored the room he was in. The last thing he could remember was a figure in the distance before falling face first into the snow. Now, he didn't know how much time had passed since he passed out but he first needed to know where he was.
Putting on his shoes that were removed and placed inside the room at a corner, Genji walked out of the house after seeing that there was no one in it.
Once outside, Genji sensed various individuals wearing identical armors, making him realize that he was in a place filled with soldiers.
Careful, Genji hid from view from them easily and calmly explored the area with his new skill Chi sense.
With his daughter wrapped in a little blank in his arms, Genji walked and explored the place he was in.
Large walls that looked like they were made after piling snow together, tall watchtowers, various buildings ranging from a dining place to small simple homes, and finally, a large training area that held a large fighting ring.
After this short walk of his, Genji figured out that this place was either a military fort or an area to train warriors.
"HAH!"
Suddenly, from his left, Genji heard someone yell and the sound of fighting ensued.
Turning his head, Genji sensed a woman wearing some sort of protective gear.
'What's happening?' wondered Genji as he kept his senses on her and the general area around her.
He could sense and feel the woman bend fire as she sparred against three other individuals. Genji remained quiet and quietly sensed what was happening. Yet something shocking soon happened as he sensed the same firebending woman begin to bend the water element.
'Is she… the Avatar?' thought Genji as he looked at the woman.
Last he knew, Aang was the Avatar…
'Did I cross into the future? Or to an Alternate Reality?'
Genji began to wonder as he sensed the woman spar against three other individuals.
As he watched the woman through his chi sense spar against these three other fighters, Genji soon sensed someone he believed to recognize.
"Katara… she… feels older. Looks like I did cross into the future," muttered Genji as he returned his focus to the woman. "That must mean that this woman is Korra…"
Apart from seeing Avatar The Last Airbender, Genji had seen a small portion of Korra. He had a rough idea of what was going on and what he could expect, but after his influence here in this world, Genji was unsure of what was different in this future he was in.
Curiously, Genji stayed back and let Korra spar against these three other fighters. She was winning overwhelmingly, but she wasn't really learning anything as she used all her strength to defeat them.
If Genji wasn't aware that Korra is originally from the water tribe, he would have thought that Korra is a descendant from Earthbenders who are hardheaded and loved to fight head on.
Now, being more experienced and wise, Genji could see that the old men were correct when they were worried that Korra shouldn't leave just yet as she was too headstrong.
However, he also didn't agree with the methods of those old men.
"Gah!"
Suddenly, Genji's daughter's exclamation made him snap out of his thoughts.
He could feel countless gazes be drawn over to him and he could hear many heavy footsteps marching their way towards him.
"You silly little girl. Getting your dad into trouble already," Genji chuckled as he poked his daughter's cheek softly.
"Hehe~ha!"
Genji smiled and lifted his head to face the soldiers that were surrounding him.
