Multi-Strike Sword Skill

The second manticore increased its speed and jumped on Ziro and the party.

There was much to discuss but too little time for them.

'If I dodge, then Alina would end up getting hurt. And even if we all manage to dodge, the manticore will simply jump back at us or wag its tail, killing all of us, like the other manticore killed the other.

Everything seemed in slow motion to Ziro. Almost as if the flow of time was slowed for him.

'You are Edens, Ziro. And Edens never think twice before getting what they want.' Nero remembered his grandfather's words.

'The manticore's HP is 12000, and my ATK is 120. Even if I use my AGILITY and my multi-strike sword skill, I will at least need to attack this monster 100 times.'

'100 times in 2 seconds? Is that even possible?' he thought to himself as he moved and turned his sword to the other side.

A wide smirk appeared on his face as he thought, 'Two seconds is more than enough.'

[Your Agility will increase by 0.2x with every passing second.]

'There is no point in activating the 'Devour' skill and 'Phoenix's Curse'.'

Devour skill absorbed and dealt the same amount of damage to the opponent, but to use it in the current battle, Nero would first have to let the manticore attack him.

It may not deal any damage to him because the devour skill would absorb the damage, but what about Alina and the others?

Phoenix's curse uses HP and converts it into ATK. But he couldn't use Phoenix's curse in the current battle because he would lose HP, and that's the last thing he wants to happen.

The time started flowing again, and the next instant, Ziro cleaved the manticore into pieces using his muti-strike sword skill combo.

Everyone's gaze stopped at Ziro, and the chamber turned silent.

ROAR!

The third manticore roared and dashed at Ziro with double the speed as the other manticores.

Ziro instantly tossed his sword from his right hand to his left hand and dashed at the Boss manticore.

He swung his sword, but as it was about to touch the manticore, another sword appeared in view and cleaved the manticore in one hit.

Baffled, Ziro glanced back to see Sera standing beside him.

They stared at each other for a while with a puzzled look on their face, but Sera clicked her tongue and glared at Ziro.

"...!" Ziro glanced at Alina and thought, 'Did she just click her tongue at me? No, I am just—"

"Tch!" Sera clicked her tongue again.

"Why… do you look angry?" Ziro asked.

"Because you came in between. I was about to do a '3 seconds, 3 strikes, 3 kills', using my five-second, but you ruined everything by attacking the first manticore."

Ziro indeed killed the manticore in 2 seconds, but he did it using his multi-strike sword skill. But Sera killed the manticore in one hit within a second.

Sera had different types of skills, but all of them were buff skills which just buffed her AGILITY and ATK.

She activated all her skills at once, which gave her a 5 second combo time where she was unparalleled.

She wanted to kill the first manticore and immediately dash to the Boss manticore, then the final one. But Ziro ruined her combo time by coming in her way and killing the first manticore.

"You ruined the momentum," Sera sighed.

"But our team still managed to kill two of them, and we got a score of 240,000. That brings us to top 8th position," Ziro forced a smile at Sera.

"And if we had gotten all three of them with my combo time skill, we would have also gotten a bonus for the triple kill, and we would be in the top 5."

"Enough chit-chat, you two!" Alina shouted and said, "Don't forget the third one is still alive."

Alina, Kiana, and Kevin rushed to Ziro and Sera and encircled them.

Everyone's gazes were still fixated on Ziro and Sera as they stole the spotlight by killing one of the most feared monsters in an instant.

Ziro glared into the eyes of the last remaining manticore and beckoned it: "Come. It's time for a walk."

ROAR~!

The manticore began dashing at Ziro as he walked out of the group, swinging his sword.

The manticore jumped, and Ziro raised his sword to use enhanced multi-strike sword skill.

"Watch out!"

But, Ziro was pushed to the side by someone, and seconds later, half of the chamber was on fire.

Ziro got up and glanced back to see Alina burnt on the ground with 13 HP left.

'What happened? I didn't see the manticore firing anything.'

When Ziro was about to swing his sword, dozens of fireballs were launched at the manticore. Alina noticed it and tried to save Nero, but it was too late for her to dodge it.

Although, it was Kevin who took most of the damage by guarding Alina, Kiana, and Sera.

Nero glanced around to see half of the players had died. But, there was one spot that was as clean as a crystal.

The guild name 'Red Dragon' was standing there, and all the 80 guild members were smirking with a smug look on their faces.

In the middle of the 80 guild members, the guild leader was laughing out loud after looking at Ziro and the others.

Ziro looked at the name of the player and clenched his jaw.

Name: Byldger. (Leader of the Red Dragon Guild.)

"Are you okay?!" Sera asked Ziro with a concerned and anxious look on her face.

"Yeah. Please heal Alina. I will be right back."

Ziro stood up and stared at the red dragon guild members and Byldger with dead eyes and yelled, "You. Court Death!"
