When Arceus had appeared there was chaos on the ships. People with cameras, young children and crowds of others flocked to the edge of the ship to get a better look at the god before them. The only thing stopping them from falling was the railing and even those showed signs of breaking. But even with so much weight on one side the boat didn't even tilt due to the firmness of the tripod legs. The tripods were made to hold several Groudon on top of because if someone got hurt on his ship the captain would never her the end of it, or the start, depending on how severe the punishment for a few casualties were these days, he hadn't checked in years, but he wasn't going to let them rust and take the risk.

As the light attacks faded a large dust cloud had appeared which was dealt with by Hoopa who opened a portal to suck the smoke into. When it was clear the corruption had vanished in the targeted area. There was something that could destroy it which was confusing to Pibby as she only felt medium god level power and in her previous army she had divine powered gods but 'anything is possible' which Pibby had never believed up until now.

As the remaining group mourned the loss of their comrades they bowed their heads and had a moment of silence. And suddenly Arceus was being dragged out of the sky. The corruption had climbed up the tripod legs and was waiting for the right time to strike and when the heads were lowered it jumped towards the group landing square on Arceus's back.

The crowd, Pibby and the legendaries just watched in silence as Arceus fell in what seemed like slow motion, but even though it seemed like slow motion Arceus quickly pulled up his fire type Z-Crystal and absorbed it. Being a fire type now Arceus preformed the move self destruct but the explosion was killed of the the corrupted mass leaving just an unconscious Arceus to fall into the corruption that had formed below which quickly developed Arceus and with a quick flash the fire stone was removed from Arceus and in its place corruption was absorbed by the unconscious god.

Arceus had risen to its legs now but it was no Arceus you'd ever look up to, this Arceus was a corrupted type. its skin was corruption, its eves were white and now it longed for a hunt.
