'How come that I've have got into this kind of situation?!' Thought a young boy, who was in a middle of a fight between a group of peoples, and a kid who he just met a few minutes ago.

A few hours before the event happened.

13:11, Venus of Lunae.

A young boy could be seen traveling across the forest with a traveling bag on his back. This person has straight long black hair that reached his neck and a pair of onyx black eyes. He was 151.2 cm tall and wore simple black clothes that blend in the dark. He seemed to be looking for something.

'Where is it. It's supposed to be here somewhere.' Thought the young boy as he looked around his surrounding until he noticed a cave close to his destination. He became a bit hopeful and decided to walk into the cave.

Walking inside the dark cave, the light from outside the cave begun to fade away, as he took a flashlight out from his pocket and turned it on. It lighten up the whole cave in front of his view. He continued to walk deeper into the cave with an excited and nervous expression.

After a few minutes of walking, he finally reached at the end of the cave, where an altar could be seen. The altar had a picture of what looks like a human holding a sword that shined, against a black creature with red eyes and black smokes, covering its whole body.

In the middle of the altar, a jet-black orb could've be seen. Seeing the orb, the boy became excited when he saw the orb, as he turned off his flashlight, and went to where the orb is.

"This is it. With this orb, I can finally enter the academy." He said as his right-hand touched the surface of the orb, as it begin to release a powerful wave of energy, and went inside his body.

The young boy, who suddenly got the unknow energy inside him immediately dropped his bag and sat in a lotus position. Feeling the unknow energy invading his body, he went to absorb the energy into his Core Mana.

He sat in the same position for 3 hours before the process was finished, as the orb disappeared. He let out a sigh of relief before putting his hands on the ground, as a shadow portal came out of nowhere and pulled him and his bag in it.

Before he got pulled into the shadow portal, he could feel the dark creature with red eyes from the picture stared at him before he was pulled completely down and disappeared.

Opening his eyes again, he found himself on the sky with his bag close to him, which he managed to grab before falling down. 'Sh*t! What should I do? What Should I do, now? Think. Think!'

He suddenly got an idea as he reached right-hand below him, while concentrating his mana from the core within his body and tries to replicate the shadow portal from before. It worked, but he spawned the portal at a wrong destination as he continue to fall down.

He cursed himself as there was a close gap bewteen him and before he was going to be splatted like a tomato on the ground below him. Before he could do anything a wave of strings came toward and grab a hold of him as he stopped falling to the ground.

Looking surprised, the young boy looked at where the source of strings came from and saw another young boy, who seemed to be at the same age as him.

He had straight short blond hair and mint-green eyes. He wore a simple brown jacket with a blue t-shirt under it, and blue cowboys pants. There were strings coming out of his hands.

The young boy, who fell out of the sky got out of his shock and was carefully sent down to the ground. "Oi, what were you doing up there?" The young boy, who rescued the fallen boy pointed his index finger on the sky.

"Oh uhh…" He couldn't manage to say what he wanted as a few bullets passed them from behind. The two young boys who saw this suddenly became serious as they went to hide behind one of the rocks.

The short blonde hair boy raised his head up and took a look to only see a few 'friends' of his. "I can't believe that they're actually coming after me from such a long distance." The other young boy was confused and asked. "Who are they? More importantly, who are you?"

"Let's make this a short introduction as we don't have much time. My name is Lux Chain, it would be nice to meet you if it wasn't for the situation right now." He indicated to those peoples who just shot out bullets, that aimed at them.

"My name is Alex Varja, nice to meet you, too." Alex introduced himself as Lux nodded before he looked serious at Alex. "Hey, can you fight and kill?" Alex, who understood what he meant nodded.

"Good, cause I have a plan that should get both of us out of here with our skin alive." He said with a smile as he begins to use his string to make traps.

"Oi, Lux boy! Give us the money and we will let you go this time! Aren't you tired of this game?" Said one of the men who tried to kill Lux and Alex. He looked like someone in mid-thirties.

"Hey! Give me some time to think of about it shit-face!" Lux yelled back, which enraged the person who just spoke. ���You had plenty of time to think about your life, brat! Give us the money, or we will kill you and that friend of yours there."

Lux looked over at Alex and smiled. "Hey, Alex. Can you use the portal thing and sent those three over there?" Lux said as he pointed over at a tree. "I can try," Alex replied as he just got his power and now already in life and death situation. What a bad day…

Alex looked a bit over the rock and saw three bulk men pointing a gun at them. When they saw Alex, one of them immediately fired, which missed Alex by a hair strand as he quickly comes down again.

Now that he got their position, Alex concentrates his Core Mana while focusing and imagine a shadow portal would appear beneath them and another one at the destination Lux told him to drop them to.

"What the-" One of the bulk men didn't finish as all three of them got sucked into a shadow portal. When they came out again, their body was tangled by what seemed to be strings. "What! What happened!?" One of them said as he tried to remove the string, but it only made it harder to escape.

Suddenly Lux walked over to them as Alex still sat behind the rock, watching Lux confronting them. "Aiya, Aiya. Looks like I have caught some ugly pig today. How unlucky." Lux said with a grin.

All three men looked at him hatefully and were angered by what he just said. "Just wait for your mana depleted! By that time all three of us will kill you slowly along with your friends!" Lux just looked at them nonchalantly as he yawned.

"Whatever dude. Let's see if you guys can survive my explosion." Lux said as he snapped his fingers and the tip of each string begins to glow orange-red. Suddenly of the string exploded along with the three men, who were trapped by it.

Lux turned around to Alex with a smile. "Guess that was it huh-" he couldn't finish on what he was saying as a bullet pierces through his body. Lux spat out a small amount of blood as he looked behind.

Two of the men died and were burned to crisp, but the leader managed to survive somehow. "You've actually had a rank 1 protection talisman?" Lux looked at him in disbelief as the man didn't reply but continue to shoot magic bullets against him.

Lux dodged with sending string out to grab one of the tree branches and jumped up. Alex who saw this had a serious look on his face. 'I need to help him.' He thought as his left hand begins to gather mana around the surrounding.

Lux, who was on defense position, dodged the magic bullets as the leader kept firing after him constantly. Suddenly a portal appeared behind the leader as he was unaware, because he was in full rage, and the only thought he had was to kill Lux.

What come out of the portal shocked both Lux and the leader. A magic bullet came out and pierce through the leader's head as his body fell down to the ground, while his head was bleeding out.

The battle was over...
