57. Last Piece Of Family

The sound of the music still filled the silence between words. Diana started annoyed by the question her mom gave. How many times she should say that James's only her friend and that's nothing between them. Her mother didn't give up that easily, she would dig deeper until she found what she looking for.

"Mom, cut it out!"

Laura raised her hand, "Okay, I'm giving up but are you want to make me curious like this on my way home? Alice, do you know about him?" She turned her sight to Alice.

Alice glanced at Diana at first and could see her shook her head, "Umm… well…I don't know exactly but…" She glanced again, "Once or twice I saw him drove her around midnight."

Alice winked at Diana, 'God if only she's not my sister, I'll kick her out of this house.' She didn't want to make that a big deal, it just a couple of nights and nothing happened. They just talked and hang out, but after Alice said that in front of her mom it would turn into something big.
