Unearth

Robin went the other side. He decided to explore the outside of the building.

Whereas, Della decided to go inside the building.

"This building looks so...damaged." Said Della to herself.

Della decided to go up the stairs to see what was happening.

Something unbelievable happened. She heard someone talking.

Della decided to eavesdrop on them.

She stood behind the wall which was opposite to where they were standing.

"So you're telling me that you betrayed me Mike?!" Asked Lexi.

"Lexi and M-MIKE?!" Said Della to herself.

"I-i'm sorry Lexi... I was in a state of guilt. I couldn't do anything about it. I just...used Della to send the treasure away..." Said Mike.

Della's eyes filled with tears. She wanted to cry out loud but she couldn't. She had made up a close bond with Mike but he used her. But, she had no other choice but to just stand there and listen.

"Excuse me? Mike, you're telling me this now? Della is going to give the treasure to the government! " Yelled Lexi.

"I apologise Lexi. I-"

Lexi couldn't react. Mike was her brother and she couldn't hurt him. Della was peeking in the small hole.

"I feel so guilty Lexi." Said Mike.

Lexi walked away.

Meanwhile, Mike decided to come down the stairs. Della couldn't see what happened there clearly as the hole was very tiny.

Mike came down. He saw Della standing there.

He stood there just looking at her.

"D-della...?"

She instantly turned around. She was crying.

"Mike. MIKE!" Yelled Della.

Lexi heard the sound. She immediately ran down.

Lexi pulled out her gun.

"You're such a manipulator, Della." Said Lexi.

"Shut up Lexi. You're the biggest manipulator here. Do you even have any idea how much we believed in you? I always treated you as my sister." Said Della.

Lexi was cold-hearted. She wasn't going to fall for the sentimental talks of Della. Her hand was steady. She was determined to shoot Della.

Mike immediately grabbed Lexi's gun and pointed it on Lexi's head.

Lexi looked at Mike. She was looking at a traitor. It was her own brother.

"W-what are you doing Mike?" Asked Lexi.

Meanwhile, Robin heard the sound upstairs and he decided to come upstairs. He sprinted to the terrace.

Robin looked at Lexi and Mike.

"Here you are, Mike! Let me arrest you!" Yelled Robin.

"Robin stop. He's safe." Said Lexi.

"How do you expect me to trust you?" Asked Robin.

"It's only right to arrest me. Not my brother." Said Lexi.

"What do you mean?" Asked Robin

"Mike never wanted the treasure. He just wanted it to go to the government. But, I never knew until today." Said Lexi.

"W-what?" Asked Robin.

"Mike was the one who asked the lady to give you the letter. He was the one who asked her to be rude so that she could be suspicious. He was the one who dragged you into every problem. Just because, he could help you but without us knowing it." Said Lexi.

"Arrest me Della." Said Lexi.

Della refused.

"I forgive you Lexi." Said Della.

"W-what?" Asked Lexi.

"I am so glad that you've understood what you did was wrong." Said Della.

"So you're just going to leave her like that?" Asked Robin.

"Maybe not just like THAT. But, I forgive her." Said Della.

Lexi cried. She wanted to thank Della.

"We have to head to the treasure now." Said Della.
