Sipping from my mug of cocoa with my legs crossed on the low table behind the large TV in the living room, I had my gaze fixed on the device.
For the hundredth time since I turned on the TV this morning, a headline tagging Nevian and Khloe couples popped up on my screen and in anger, I turned off the TV.
Since last night, I had been struggling to accept what Nevian had said. It felt like I was dreaming or more still making up scenarios but none of that was the case.
Blinking my eyes, I pushed back the tears that were already pooling in them.
Khloe always got the best and no matter what I did to her, she always made a comeback even before I could poke my fingers in her eyes.
Who would have thought that after I took Lance from her, she would find Nevian and both of them would get married.
Rolling my eyes, I sank deeper into the couch only for Lance to appear in front of me as he knotted his tie.
