Lance's POV
Seated at the head of the table with the head of departments in the food production company flanked on both sides, I was busy scrolling through my laptop as one of them spoke.
It had been a week since Nevian asked me to stop pursuing MK Confectioneries N Cakes which I readily agreed to.
My acceptance was because I had no idea who was the face behind the company and also because I wasn't ready to push ahead with my threat just yet.
To Nevian, he thought he had cornered me when I was just getting started.
Drumming my fingers against the table, I leaned forward, a smirk forming on my lips as several pairs of eyes were fixed on me.
Not minding their gazes, I continued smirking only to push my chair backwards suddenly and then snapped my fingers.
Pushing my hands into my pockets, I walked straight to the screen, sidelining the staff that was giving a lecture a few minutes ago.
