My Life Changed

I suddenly woke up really scared I was dreaming that I said yes and it was not yet tomorrow.

Tomorrow came for real this time actually I pinched myself to know that I was not dreaming I was ready to get married.

I was now standing in front of James fir real saying a yes or a no to the marriage I was asked and the words came out were "I don't" everyone in the ceremony stood up and looking at me I could see James also shocked and looking at me. Now my eyes found Lily she signalled me to run and I did what she said. I felt that my headpiece was taken away by James and I ran away finally saying no to the marriage.

We got a Taxi and left for Airport. I saw those Guards chase us to get me but we were able to leave them though the taxi driver asked "should I stop?" we ran inside the airport but they still followed us as they were royal guards and allowed inside the Airport. we ran into ladies room they came and stood outside. Lily said "they are too tough to be left behind. but I am Lily and have solution for everything." She took out wig and two different dresses from her backpack and we were easily able to leave washroom and Rivervalley.

Now I was standing where I always dreamt to be standing IIT Bombay. I and Lily fortunately had the same dorm so we entered and found new friends. we had our introduction with our dorm mates and left for lunch. Lily was a beautiful girl so I could see two handsomes looking straight towards her. I told her "Lily select one." she said "no those are multiple answer correct type 🤩 I choose both." She is funny. our classes were hectic they called us whenever they wished to.

*After 4 years of graduation*

Many things changed I knew that my parents were back to India after I said no to the marriage they still used to pay for my college and I was away from Rivervalley and also that I got a job but I messed up during the interview 🤦‍♀️ so got a less salary and position. Lily started working as a secretary of vice president of the same company. yes she was dumb after getting into IIT who goes for being a secretary 🤦‍♀️.

We both started working there and I was a really nice employee though I wasn't given a good position but I was still intelligent so I was a computer expert everyone was quite happy with me.

One day while I was solving a glitch on computer caused by my friend the president was walking by and saw a huge crowd around a computer and shouted "Is there some cricket match or are you guys playing during work." the people from the crowd cleared and now I saw his face.

He was a muscular man and was tall he had a perfect jawline (I can say my Jaws dropped when I saw his Jawline 🤭) He had his hair perfectly slicked back.

He was also analyzing me when a worker said "no sur actually our computer expert was solving the glitch and we were all learning." he turned his gaze and said " get back to work." and walked. I couldn't take him out of my brain.

That night I was thinking of this guy his muscles and face and the hairs were magical and were talking me also into a magical world. I did not realize when I slept but I remember the most weirdest dream of the century. I was kissing my boss and he was kissing me back 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Me kissing him was not a shock but He kissing me back was a shock. I thought "stop thinking about him why would he even take interest in you ever. stop thinking and concentrate on work."

I went to the office and I was called in by the H.R and she said "The boss wants you to become his secretary and..."

before she could complete I said "miss I am an iitian I did not give so much effort in 11th and 12th just to become a secretary."

"I know but the boss wants a computer expert like you because he himself is very bad in computer."

"so why me?"

"because everyone suggested you."

"why would they?"

"because they think nobody can be best at handling computers."

"ugh but I know nothing."

"stop nagging and read the contract but if you feel that being a secretary is tough you can always leave and continue your position."

she was challenging me but as soon as I read the contract I jumped off the seat as it said my pay would be 10 million dollars. The H.R was confused "what happened? why are you jumping?"

"what do you mean look at my pay in the contract"

"gurl all the iitians get almost same pay. but I guess being secretary is quite tough and specially our boss is a nagging monster."

"who said it is tough? if Lily can do it even I can do it. Challenge accepted."
