XCIX. Sweet Home.

When Carol and the King's returned from their party —at 4:20 pm to be exact, sooner than the girls expected —but quite the eccentric number for some reason— Cookie immediately descended the 160 degrees way down to the car, greeting her parents with enthusiasm as they got out of it.

"...Like I'm eager to see Carol again," Vanilla sarcastically said as Rowie and she followed behind.

Carol and the King's brought with them some carrot cake, and after the girls filled their stomachs with the sweet and heavy dessert, Cookie made the question to her parents.

Everyone was on the green couches of the lavender-scented living room, with granulated gospel music sounding through the radio. The King's and the duo of girls sat in front of each other, while Carol sat at an armchair leaning on the wall next to the main corridor.
