CLXXXVII. Sacrifices.

The now grey sky got perforated by holy lightning, shooting yellowish-white light and impacting the zombies, monsters, and supergiant tentacles that just emanated from the guts of the earth, making them swirl, flinch, and contract with thundering attacks.

"Saint Michael!" Rowie exclaimed. "It worked!"

The contractor chuckled, levitating again with a green aura burning around his body. "Do you think that pathetic angel can defeat Nihil? The nothing itself?!" He raised his hand. Vanilla immediately pressed the Diamond. A giant wave of green energy rained all above them, breaking the barrier with a din. "You think that trash is going to work here?!"

"Bumbly, attack!" Cookie screamed. The bumblebee rushed harder than a firefly, but as it was about to impact it, the maddened Contractor shot a burst of fire at her with his hands.

The spirit exploded in a blue cloud of fume. Cookie's wings vanished. "Monster! You killed he—aaAaAaAAAaaAA!"
