A Sudden Presence

"I can not even promise to present the perfect delivery of lines and acting," Mina mumbled to herself as she reviewed the email for any errors or anything that could be written differently. "But I can make sure that I am always doing my best to show everyone how hardworking Hong Mina is on set,"

It's always important not to sound rude. The thing with emails is that you can sound rude even if you don't want to. It is better to sound stiff as most emails usually go to the stiff but polite content, but it's vital not to sound rude.

When it was finally time for Mina to click the send button, she closed her eyes and clicked it using her index finger.

Sent.

Finally, it was done! She could not believe she just landed the leading role of the drama she auditioned to become the supporting role!

It was too much of a coincidence but is this finally the fruits of her hard work?

Drying her hair with a piece of towel, Mina realized that the static friction she was doing to her hair would damage it, so she went near her bed where her cabinet was and grabbed a blowdryer. She plugged the hair dryer's plug that was just behind the cabinet and dried her hair.

She held the blowdryer using her right hand and directed it to the right side of her head. As she was shocked at the sudden heat on her right ear, she led the blowdryer away from her and winced in pain.

"Ouch,"

Recovering from the pain she went through, she decided to direct the blowdryer correctly this time. She aimed for the hair that was below her neck and started drying them until it was time for her to dry the roots of her head.

She looked funny, but Mina succeeded in drying her hair like that.

Unplugging the blowdryer's plug from the socket, Mina arranged the cord and the blowdryer and then put it inside the cabinet.

It was finally time for Mina to relax; she thought about what diet meal she should prepare later for dinner.

Simple oatmeal with bananas and greek yogurt would be enough for dinner?

Mina decided to browse her social networking sites and posted how happy she was to receive a particular type of blessing today. She had ten thousand followers on ByulSta, and most of them knew her because she was popular ever since she was in high school.

A popular and outgoing girl who enjoyed theatre arts and nothing else.

Many of her commenters encouraged her to do well in everything she does, mostly her high school friends. Neither of them that she was close with but just acquainted.

Even though she was pretty popular, Mina was the center of envy and jealousy from girls in her class. She was popular with the boys, and many girls looked up to her, but some people envied her popularity.

Mina treated them as her friends, but all she got was a betrayal that she did not deserve. Ever since that time, she closed her heart and was unable to trust people that easily.

Soojin was a great friend of hers, but ever since she started going out with someone during college, they didn't have enough time to hang out, which somehow separated them.

Busy reminiscing her past self and how Mina can improve as a great person and friend to others, Mina saw a random text message from someone he named as 'Crazy director sunbae.' She realized it was Kim Jeho.

Trying to contain her laughter, Mina sat on her bed as she realized that she has not even changed the name he saved on her phone. IF she was about to do it, how would she rename it?

'Would it be sexy but lustful sunbae who happened to be the future CEO of the entertainment agency I was in?'

Mina felt her fingers curl.

It was so tacky but perfect to describe their relationship. That would be too long. Even ordinary people would complain about how much of a hassle it was. However, she should instead think about different ways on how to improve acting. Then, she realized that she can't continue to act like that in front of Jeho if he becomes the final successor of the company.

And just the thought of it made her spine shiver.

Partially, she did not want to treat Kim Jeho with respect as she had always been antagonistic with him. Every time he was reminded of his face, she can feel her blood pressure rising. She did not even do something so incomprehensible, but Mina just thought that there was something behind her.

And when she turned her head, she found nothing. It must have been her imagination. She was always logical and believed that there is more than you can see.

All of a sudden, Mina finally clicked Kim Jeho's message and read it.

Lustful sunbae, Kim Jeho: Did you liked the gift I sent to you, Hong Mina?

Mina felt the irk in her head when she saw how that Jeho sunbae dropping formalities as if they were close enough to do so

So, she decided to type as ask back who he was related to. She always wanted to ignore everyone physically, including him, but it was hard.

Hong Mina: Sorry, I don't think we're in a relationship where we can contact each other like this.

Lustful sunbae, Kim Jaeho, Are you sure, Hong Mina?

Hong Mina: Why? Please tell it and don't beat around the bush.

Mina waited for Jaeho to reply, but it did not come. Instead, she received an incoming call from him. She did not want to answer it but did not want to miss it either, so she did not have a choice but to answer it.

"Hello," Mina greeted. "Please keep this conversation short, please."

"I pulled my strings, Hong Mina," Kim Jaeho said with a chuckle. "I was the one who put you into that main lead role; you must be so happy, right?"

What? Did she hear it correctly?
