Shocked
"Sek what?" Seth asked with a growl in his voice.
Ruby noticed it and looked up at him immediately. She was not trying to cause any issues for the brothers. They already had something that they were dealing with and Ruby did not want to add to it.
She hissed and turned around again to face the bed. "He didn't do anything."
"Ruby..." Seth called. He stretched her name as if warning her subtly.
"Do not hide anything from me," Seth said as his mind drifted to how he had met her and Sek in the foyer. Even the look that Sek had on his face made Seth suspicious already. Then his handkerchief that was with Ruby, his cloak that was around her shoulders. It was as if something was already going on way before he came into the picture.
"What was happening there before I came? Why had Sek given you his handkerchief? Did he make you cry? What are you not telling me?"
