Plans Commence

Ruby thought for a second. She racked her brain as she tried to go back in time to when it all happened. But she was blank. The only thing she could recall was the ringing in her ears and the way her head felt like it was about to explode.

Ruby squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head a little as if trying to dispel the thoughts and feelings swimming back to the surface.

"I would have to call Mabon to answer that question, Ling," she said with a small smile on her face.

"Weren't you there?" Ling asked, looking up at her as they stood on the balcony of the room.

Ruby looked ahead into the skies that were lit with tiny stars and she spotted one shooting one that traveled so fast, her eyes could hardly follow it.

"I was there but at the same time, I wasn't. I do not know how to explain it but Ling… I don't recall much from that incident that day…"

"I understand, Ling said."
