Ling Opens Up

Seth walked into Ling's chambers and immediately perceived the smell in the room. He stopped in his tracks and looked around. The smell could not be mistaken. [This is definitely blood], Seth thought.

Ling saw how the prince was looking around. He was so happy that just moments ago, the cleaners had left his house. The wizard could not understand why the prince was looking around like that.

Normally, there was no sign of what had happened in Ling's house. They had even used some form of perfume to eradicate any lingering smell that may have remained in the general room.

So, Ling watched Prince Seth as he looked around.

[It wouldn't surprise me if he could sense what just occurred here], Ling thought.

Ling tried to keep his face as straight as possible so as not to give out any sign whatsoever.
