It Was Her

In the Red Kingdom, Ruby could not lift up her eyes to look at Seth and it made Seth all the more confused and hell-bent on finding out what was written in that letter.

"Ruby?"

She flinched and scrunched the paper in her hands with beads of sweat visible on her lovely forehead making some strands of her red hair stuck to her forehead.

Seth stood up from the chair that he was sitting on as the chair screeched against the floor sending sounds into the air.

That was when Ruby looked up. "What- where are you going?"

Seth did not respond to her. He was worried that someone had reached out to her — someone that could threaten her safety and her rise to the Ziviel Throne. Perhaps, Sir Taff has gone against them and had alerted someone else of the princess' whereabouts. If that was the case, Seth would never forgive him and Taff would have to go down with Thress beside him. There was no way he would spare Taff for double-crossing them.
