First Mission

Ruby heard what had happened in the bailey but when Seth returned to the chamber, she didn't utter a word about it.

She had told the servants to bring his favourite food to the chamber so that they would have their dinner there that evening. There were things she needed to discuss with him but wanted him to finish his meals first.

When he was in the bailey, Ruby had a word with Sir Taff and Taff told her about the people Seth wanted to build a temple for. She recalled the discussion she had with Seth and how she told him she trusted his thoughts and decisions. That was the only reason she didn't act on what Taff told her.

And even Sir Taff had been surprised. Perhaps, he expected her to call them to the palace and order them out of the kingdom. Or he expected her to tell Seth not to grant them their wishes.
