An Insider Is Created
Sir Taff decided to betray King Thress.
He didn't know if he was betraying the current king occupying the Zivoel Throne or if he was actually fighting ht the survival of the throne. He went back to his quarters that day with the resolve to contribute his own two bits, to set things right.
[I have been supporting a mad man], Taff thought.
What Sir Taff had witnessed in the throne room that day wouldn't leave his mind in a hurry. Taff felt traumatized.
As his assistant arranged the books on the shelf, Taff said, "Did you see that?"
"See what, sir?". The assistant knew what his master was talking about but was surprised that Sir Taff wanted to discuss it with him. He knew that it wasn't in his master's character to discuss things that had happened inside the court.
"Do not act stupid. I am talking about when the king saw someone that was not there at all", Sir Taff said.
"Yes, sir. I think the king got confused"
