Chapter 22

The boutique was filled with the most expensive pretty dresses for women. There were each sections for every dresses. The wedding dresses were so beautiful especially with it's glittering diamonds and golds and stars. Avery eyes loved the view and couldn't wait to see how pretty her engagement dress will turn out to be. She smiled and Nina took her up the staircase towards the last floor. They climbed a long step before stopping in front of a double glass door. This is the presidential suite. Nina explained before slowly push opened the glass door

Avery slowly walked inside as she felt her heart tremendously raced. She didn't know why but as she stepped foot inside this white place. She was reminded of something mysterious. Something daring.she didn't know why tho. Maybe she was over thinking cause of the engagement. The two girls walked inside and stopped when they saw a woman looking like in her 30's sitting while she crossed her leg sipping a chocolate drink. It was as if she was waiting for them.

Good afternoon miss. Nina greeted. Afternoon, how may I help you? The woman asked with a smile. Avery smith. Avery said. She wasn't in the mood for chit chat. Oh I am so sorry for keeping you two waiting. Your dress is ready. The woman said and Avery heart skipped a beat. She was getting close to be James official legal wife even tho they were already married in a contract form.

"Can we see it"?? Nina asked and the woman signalled two women to bring the dress. The two women bowed and left to get the dress. Well, Mrs Avery congratulations on your engagement. The woman said and Avery smiled. Only her knew what will happen on that day. The two girls sat down and they were served juices. After a while, the two women came back holding a carefully made cream colored ball gown designed with it diamonds.

As they brought it, Avery and Nina mouth hung open. They were mesmerized. The dress was extraordinary beautiful. If the engagement dress could be this beautiful, then how will the wedding dress be like?

Do you like it Mrs Avery? The lady asked. Nope. Avery said and the woman frowned and begin to panic. Oh my, why ? Isn't it your taste ? The woman frantically asked. She knew once a Smith hates something,it will be over for her. Is ---

I love the dress. Avery said out loud her eyes gushing with unending joy. The woman who had been holding her breath including Nina since Avery hasn't said another word apart from that no finally breath out a long sigh of relief. I thought you don't love the dress. The woman said calmly. I really do. This is one piece of an artwork. Who brought the design? Avery asked curiously.

I'm sorry miss but it's a secret. The woman said even bowing apologetically. Avery smiled.

Don't worry,so are we taking the dress with us? Avery changed the topic. No, we will bring it on the day of the engagement. The woman said and Avery nodded thoughtfully. The two girls then left the boutique and went to the car as the driver drove them straight to their next destination. After a long drive, they finally reached a shoe store. Once again, Avery couldn't help but gape. She was so happy she couldn't visit most of the expensive stores in NYC. She was glad even tho it came with pain. They bought their shoes and some heels and left for their bags and purses. After they were done shopping, the driver drove them to the cafe where they could eat and relax.

Meanwhile in fedrick office, it was a huge organization just like James own. He was seated in his office as he kept glancing at the door as if waiting for someone. And yeah, his premonition came true. Someone slowly opened the door and walked in. It was none other than Olive. So tell me Nina, you and fedrick. Avery said with a wink as she sips her milkshake. Nina held her black coffee as she couldn't help but blush at the thought of fedrick.

"Well, it's Abit weird that we broke up for some reasons which i am yet to find out. Nina explained looking down. I understand but did you guys went far in your relationship ? Avery probed. Nina cheeks burned red. She couldn't help but blush at the thought of she and fedrick doing it. No. Nina said. But once I get him back, I will find out the reason why he broke up with me. Nina said as determination swirled in her eyes. Avery just nodded lost in thought.

"What are you doing here?". He asked his eyes fixated on her as she walked towards him and sat opposite him. She was wearing a sunglasses and her long flawless hair was packed into a high ponytail. She took off her sunglasses and placed it on the desk. She smiled a while before her face became serious. Fedrick! My love, my life. Why didn't you pick my calls yesterday? She asked with all form of seriousness. There is no need to sweet talk me. Olive, listen just go back home. When I am ready to talk to you. I will call you. He said blankly and olive was unfazed. Oh really? Is that so? I haven't heard from you since yesterday and you are here telling me to leave ....

Leave to where exactly? Olive asked with a cold and serious voice. She was pissed. Fedrick stood up without answering and walked up to her as he held both her hands pulling her up. He captured her lips in a gentle kiss. Olive kissed him back as they both kissed passionately. They kept kissing for so long as their tongues played tags with each other while olive moaned softly her finger tips locked on his hair. Fedrick groaned as he kissed her deeper and harder.

They pulled out after a long while both of them trying to catch their breath. After a while, they were finally back. I already told you olive. When I want to see you, i will call you. He said as he left the office. Olive was stunned.
