Hmm....." Zheng Tianyi nodded thoughtfully. " I already did a background check on her but found nothing wrong. By the way, do you believe in fate? " He asked Li Shang the same question Jiang Xiuying asked him when he inquired about the reason why he and Yuxuan looked alike.

" What's that coming from your mouth. Haven't you always believe in coincidence why are you suddenly talking about faith?"

" Never mind..... What brings you here at this time of the day. Are you that less busy that you need Grandfather Li to set you up on another blind date?"

Li Shang moved away from Zheng Tianyi. " You are giving me chills. I only came to check up on you. I heard you haven't been taking your meds even after Yucheng made another one for you at the research facility "

" I'm okay. I don't need to take the drugs since they won't even work. I keep on dreaming even after taking the pills. "

" What?" Li Shang asked sounding alarmed. Zheng Tianyi nodded his head and sighed deeply. His cold eyes skimmed around the office and rested on Yuxuan who was scribbling away oblivious of their discussion. A soft smile rested on his lips as a degree of warmth was added his eyes.

" I heard that Chairman Li set you up on another blind date but you refused to go and came here instead. Are you bent on not getting married ?"

Li Shang frowned. He didn't understand how their conversation switched to his blind dates. " I already made a promise when we were young that I would get married after you so that your son can be my daughter's husband" He said with a smile but immediately covered his mouth. " I'm sorry. I got too excited....just ignore it like you heard nothing " He slapped his moth lightly inwardly scolding himself.

Zheng Tianyi raised his eyes to look at Yuxuan once more with a sad gaze this time around.

' A son like you would have been nice too ' He closed his eyes for a while and opened it. Massaging his forehead, he sent a text message to someone. Just like that, the nice atmosphere became stiff. Yuxuan also sensed the awkwardness and raised his head up to look at the two grown ups.

" Ooh.....I haven't introduced myself to this cute boy. I must have forgotten my manners" Li Shang quickly walked towards Yuxuan trying to evade the awkwardness.

" This handsome uncle is Li Shang. Can I know your name? " He asked grinning as he shook Yuxuan's hand. Yuxuan felt uncomfortable around Li Shang. He wasn't okay being close to a person he just met for the first time. Li Shang didn't notice anything so he kept on smiling at Yuxuan without letting his hands go.

" That's enough. Can't you tell he is uncomfortable around you?" Zheng Tianyi slapped his hands away from Yuxuan.

At that moment, there was a knock on the door. Zheng Tianyi smirked and went to open the door. Three men is suit entered the office and went to Li Shang's side with a stern face.

" Y-You guys... Why are you here?" Li Shang stuttered seeing the three hefty men in suits. He already knew they were present in Zheng Tianyi 's office because of him. He glared at Zheng Tianyi in annoyance. He felt betrayed by his best friend. He had escaped going on a blind date under the guise of having an important meeting with Zheng Tianyi.

Zheng Tianyi shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. " Have some fun with your date. I won't see you off " He smiled at him dismissing the three men and his best friend.

Li Shang was unable to say anything. He stared at Zheng Tianyi in disbelief trying to think about what he did to warrant such when it dawned on him that he mentioned Zheng Tianyi giving birth to a Child. It was a mistake on his side for touching Zheng Tianyi soft spot. Although Zheng Tianyi won't show it, he knew how much it must hurt not being able to ' perform well " in that aspect. Thinking about his mistake, he knew Zheng Tianyi was merciful enough just allowing him to go on a blind date and nothing more.

Li Shang looked at the three men that were standing rigidly beside him as if he was planning to escape. " Alright.... I would go now and have fun with my date " He said sarcastically and left the office with a hurtful look on his face.

Zheng Tianyi scratched his head and let out a long sigh. He turned his attention to Yuxuan and saw that he was busy cleaning his hands with a tissue.

" What's wrong?" Zheng Tainyi asked in a calm voice as he bent down to carefully examine Yuxuan's hand. Yuxuan withdrew his hand immediately Zheng Tianyi touched like he came in contact with something hot causing Zheng Tianyi to be puzzled. He waited patiently to see what the little boy was up to. Yuxuan kept on rubbing his palm where Li Shang had touched. He felt so uncomfortable that he continued till it turned red.

Zheng Tianyi's eyes widened at Yuxuan's action. He tried touching him one more time but Yuxuan stood up from the chair he was swaying on and backed away from Zheng Tianyi oncoming touch. Zheng Tianyi raises his hands up in surrender. Although he didn't know what was going on with Yuxuan but he felt he had to refrain from moving any further.

" Alright. I will stop touching you. You should also stop rubbing your palm like that. It's getting red and will be painful." He said standing about two metres away from Yuxuan.

Yuxuan looked at Zheng Tianyi's familiar face that reminds him of what his appearance would look like in the future. He dropped down his hands and bit his quivering lips slightly trying to hold his tears in. Zheng Tianyi gazed at the pitiful figure that stood in front of him. With large strides, he scooped Yuxuan into his arms and began patting his back. " Don't keep it in, let it out"
