Chapter 037: The Cunning Woman

Su Qin had just rushed back from out of town, and it was already midnight by the time she arrived home. She had thought everyone would be asleep by now, but unexpectedly she ran into Wei Chengfeng.

Subconsciously, Su Qin tidied her hair, straightened her chest, and curved her lips, exuding charm with her whole demeanor.

"Mr. Wei? So late, how come you..."

Wei Chengfeng stopped in his tracks and said indifferently, "I brought your sister home."

"Ah, I see. Since it's already so late, why don't you stay here for the night?"

"No need, I'm leaving."

Seeing that Wei Chengfeng wasn't particularly warm towards her, Su Qin found it inappropriate to insist on his staying, as it might lead him to think she wasn't reserved enough.

"Then, I'll walk you out."

After seeing Wei Chengfeng off, the smile on Su Qin's face disappeared in an instant.

With it being so late, and he personally escorted her home, it seems their relationship has been progressing well.
