Please don't disappoint me

Nora was sitting quietly in Jason's office for the past three hours now, she was so frustrated and bored.

She tried to call his attention by sighing but he didn't pay attention to her.

Sir, can I ask you something?" Nora stood up and held her both hands together.

Sure" Jason dropped his documents and stared at her.

Sir, I have been sitting for three hours, what exactly I'm I supposed to do" Nora asked.

Jason smiled and thought of what he could tell her so he stood up and walked to the shelf in his office and brought out three different books.

I want you to learn one chapter each of all the books everyday, you will be given a test" Jason handed the books over to her.

Nora read the titles on the book cover.

The first one was: Learning Russian

The second one was: Easy Spanish Step-by-step guide.

The last one was: German made simple.

What!!!" Nora was really annoyed this time around.

Jason ignored her and sat on his chair, crossing both of his legs in a relaxed manner.

Sir, I...I...don.. don't.. under..un... understand" Nora stammered. She was scared to question him because she didn't want to lose her job but she was indeed confused.

You will have to follow me to business meetings outside the country and most of our business contracts are based in those languages" Jason explained calmly.

Ok sir" Nora said with a bow and walked to her sit.

Jason just wanted to piss her off, he laughed and faced his documents.

There was silence in the office till the end of the day.

... Jason suddenly remembered that someone was in his office and he looked up and saw Nora studying tiredly.

You can go home, it's closing hour already" Jason said with little expression.

Nora nodded and stood up. She packed her bag and walked to the door, she was about to open it when she heard Jason's words.

You will have your first test tomorrow so prepare" Jason smirked as he spoke.

Nora turned around and opened her mouth, about to speak.

You can leave now" Jason said.

Nora sighed and walked out of the office, he was the most annoying human being she has ever met.

Mr Anthony stopped her and asked why she was grumbling, Nora answered with "nothing" and walked past him.

She was a kind of person that hated to gossip about people especially those who are a blessing to her.

Nora got home 7pm and she took a quick shower then went to bed. Nora didn't have the appetite to have dinner so she slept immediately.

... Jason closed from the office late and headed home. He couldn't stop thinking about how devastated she looked, he kept smiling to himself.

He got home and headed to his room before being stopped by his mom.

Son, I have something to discuss with you" Mrs Anderson seemed worried.

What do you want?" Jason turned around with an emotionless stare.

Mrs Anderson signaled to Jason to have his seat next to her. He sat opposite his mom and folded his hands.

The eldest son of your father is coming back and from my sources, I found out that he wants to claim the company" She sighed and stared at her son.

Jason's attitude was indifferent, he didn't say a word and just stared at his mom with an expression saying"so".

I know that you are going ask why I'm telling you this, I don't want you to lose that company. Your father left me and did the same to other women, please don't disappoint me" She stood up and held her son's hand tightly.

I will think about it, I have to go now" Jason lessen the hands of his mother and left to his room.
