Amelia threw the knife away from herself the moment she walked into the room. She clasped both of her palms over her mouth and let out stifled sobs.
She took her hands away from her mouth and stared at them. They trembled strongly and she reduced to the floor level to cry her heart out.
"I never meant to do that. I never meant to be so wicked and…" she trailed off in pain.
Amelia ran her fingers through her hair. With watery eyes, she looked around her matrimonial bedroom. She tried to stand up but her legs were unable to carry her.
Amelia held both sides of her head and pressed her face in between her knees. "I shouldn't have let my emotions control me that way. I should have thought twice and controlled myself," she said in regret.
Daniel who just walked out of the bathroom came to a sudden halt when he saw someone folded up before his door. He gently closed the door behind him and when he heard the sound of her sob, he gulped in recognition.
