The two pets roared loudly as soon as they smelled the familiar scent of their master. Xiu Mei and Lu Chen were still a few meters away from where their house is when she heard them roar to life. She hid behind Lu Chen on reflex as her nerves jumped on high alert after hearing that scary sound. 

Lu Chen introduced her to the two animals again since they've only met her once before and for them to get more familiar with her scent. So that if Xiu Mei goes to the garden next time, the two animals won't blindly get suspicious of her presence.
