Franklin saw the redness and swelling on her face and frowned. Yasmin was so cruel, she deserved to be slapped in return.
His fingertips gently touched her cheek, and the red and swollen area was no longer numb and painful. His movements were too gentle, and he was very careful as if he was afraid of hurting her.
Ava's heart suddenly beat faster.
"Does it hurt?" Franklin looked at her and asked.
Knowing he asked for no reason, Ava replied with a muffled voice: "Ah...it doesn't hurt anymore."
"If someone hits you, won't you fight back?" Franklin asked. She was beaten but she didn't know how to fight back. Should he say she was kind-hearted or stupid?
"Her movements were so fast that I had no time to dodge, let alone fight back." Ava replied. At that time, how could she have known that Yasmin would attack her right when she opened the door. Besides, she didn't dare to hit anyone in this place for little reasons.
