Hannah received the flowers from Edgar for no reason. Her heart was like a wave hitting the shore. Her clear eyes were full of astonishment, "Why did you give it to me...?"
Why did he give her roses? He knew what roses meant?
Hannah's reaction made Edgar crazy. "What do you have to do for me to give it to you? Why don't you just accept it?"
