When Richard woke up the next morning, apart from his shoulder throbbing, he felt more energetic. The sun was shining through his curtain, and he could feel something damp on his forehead. He grabbed it off realizing it was a towel. He looked to the side and saw that Celeste was right by the bedside. Her head was cradled in her arms as she knelt beside the bed.
