The Longing of His Heart
Mikołaj Skrzynecki was tired and hungry. He was so tired that he didn't even have the strength to go to the kitchen to get a candy bar. He couldn't even get up from his chair. His eyes were closing by themselves and his head was starting to buzz. And he was supposed to spend a few more hours at work!
He turned his head that was resting on the desk and looked wistfully at the door through which his subordinates had left a few or a dozen minutes ago. He envied them! He envies them so much they can go home! At this point, he regretted his leadership position. He would be very, very happy if he were a rank-and-file employee at this point. Although, if Elwira was the boss, he would still have to stay overtime and deal with this thankless work.
