– Ethan's POV

Once the moon started to set, he began to move. To find a food source to clinch his hunger. Not once did he think that he'd been born in such a difficult time.

Being 19, he was born during the fell of the world. He doesn't remember exactly how it fell as he was a newborn, but his parents side that the sun was heating and the moon was getting closer.

Massive waves of both hot and cold storms entered the world's atmosphere, hot during the daytime and cold during the night. Hardly seasons came, only winter and summer came and go.

Spring and fall was either too hot or too cold for its nature. As of now, it is summer, where everything is just burning hot.

He panted as he ran across multiple blocks of old buildings, buildings were some people still lived and refused to leave. During his parents time, everyone was being evacuated to ships, only the rich and important figures however.

He stopped to look up, space crafts were still following the earth gravitional pull, mocking those on the planet. These crafts were like pods, filled with what you would need to survive.

Smaller ships have been seen leaving to probably collect resources from other places unknown to him.

He looked back down, forward as he began to run again. He finally stopped at a store, one that had started to decompose.

Hr walked over, looking around, seeing no one else before entering the place. Mold and rust entered his nose, he went to look for canned food. His mother always said that shelved items or canned items would be better then fresh ones in this new age.

As he was grabbing the canned food as he looked at the expiry dates, he felt a familiar presence. Looking to his left side, he saw the red eyes in the dark.

Even in the dark, it seemed to eerily glow. His heart began to race as fear set in, it was her. The very woman hunting him down.

His breathing became heavy as his body frozen with the fear. The woman had came close, really close to his face.

He saw two beauty marks underneath her eyes, one on each side. Curiosity filled her eyes before it was filled with disbelief.

She said nothing before she leaned back to a straight posture, unnatural straight posture. She turned around before tossing 3 things, he caught them in surprise as she was no longer there.

The fear still in his body before he calmed down. He looked at the things, it had symbols as instructions. Food and water.

All three contain a meals worth of food and water. It was compacted to be held for traveling.

"..Won't she need them..?"

He mumbled under his breath before shaking out of it. He immediately left the store with the 3 compacted food sources and the ones he'd grabbed previously.

He brought out one of the source, and it turned into a full course breakfast. As it was still 10 am in the morning.

Freshly made pancakes, berries, wipped cream, syrup, bacon, sausage, eggs and hashbrowns. A cup of orange flavoured water with real water.

He was drooling as he smelt this for the first time, this freshly made breakfast is nothing more than a current kids dream to have.

A fork and knife was also there, so he picked it up and began to eat in a slow manner. Savoring the taste.

His parents always talked about such delicious foods, there was a wide variety back then you can chose from. Only now, you need to scavenge any food or liquid source, if lucky, you can gain these food compacts.

There are given by those from the space crafts though packages. The packages being a space craft called Pods filled to the brim with them. As of now, only the Black Order had being gaining it first.

The moment one appears, he will get it for him, and any other person who needs it. He may have started to turn heartless, but survival comes first and the young children needs the food.

He looked out of his hiding place, still wary about the woman.
