chapter 5 new neighbours

Another 5 years have passed but nothing remarkable has happened apart from Clark being a die hard fan of homelander and the fact that his gifts has started to manifest his strong enough to lift a tractor that is about 5 tons and I only able to lift 2 tons at most', Richard thought getting down from his bed facing Clark who was currently watching one the movies of the homelander

"Clark are you sure you want to be like the homelander", Richard asked Clark turned facing Richard like he was stupid "of course I want to be like him and the fact that we are somewhat special helps to seal the deal", Clark said with a smile Richard sighed 'yep there parents knew that we both possess remarkable strength it occurred when Clark lifted dads truck with relative ease to collect one of his toys and I just told them that I was that strong although our parents said that we should keep our abilities hidden I guess they have an idea on vought's shenanigans', Richard thought to himself walking out of the room only to see an unfamiliar car parking by the side of their apartment.

Martha that was coming back from the grocery store met Richard "oh I see you have finally noticed our neighbours", Martha stated smiling at Richard who approached her helping her to carry the groceries, "well to see an unfamiliar car and it looks quite fancy makes me wonder what's its looking for in this part of the country",Richard asked to no one in particular before Martha lightly flicked his forehead "don't be mean to our new neighbour I'm inviting them over for dinner so you and your brother better be on your best behaviour",Martha told Richard in a strict tone making him nod dropping of the groceries in the kitchen before going to his room to inform Clark.

In the dining table Richard and Clark with the rest of the family faced our new neighbours 'Mr Paul Wilhelm and Grace Wilhelm why does that name sound familiar', Richard thought staring at the silver head girl that seemed to be the same age as them "hello I'm Clark Kent nice to meet you", Clark greeted "I Grace Wilhelm nice to meet you too", Grace replied before everyone in the room stared at the one boy that hasn't talked since he entered the room with a shocked expression 'a member of the G men from the boys this is silver kincaid one of the most powerful supe', Richard thought "Richard wouldn't you like to introduce yourself you are keeping the lady waiting", Martha said with an angry expression "oh sorry don't mind me I'm Richard Kent I'm quite shy around new people", Richard said scratching the back of his head " well mister Richard a shy person will never admit that he is a shy person", Paul said smiling at Richard with dinner going as usual before Martha sent them off

"That poor girl to loose her parents at such young age it pains me quite a bit", Martha said walking into the living room "so that's why you sent her to play with is anytime she wants to play",Richard stated leaving the living room "and the story of the death of her parents seems a little far fetched an accident at work place and the fact that they work at Vought is not helping matters it seems that she's going to Kidnapped this year by John Godolkin is not helping matters to think I have a high probability of being entangled with the boys this early", Richard muttered to himself feeling stressed.
