Chapter 11 - Tsunade's Departure

Tsunade held a phone her hand, looking at the laptop on the table, along with thousands of books in the room while her year old daughter happily read the book in the alien language, "Explain to me again?"

"Uh…so," Decimo started from the beginning, "there are many universes, as many stars—"

"I understand that part."

"A Higher Dimensional Entity brought my mother and father from their Universe. Let's call it Universe X to Universe Y. Since my father couldn't keep it in his pants—"

"Your father, you said it," Tsunade muttered. She raised her palm, "It's not even funny because of how confused I am right now."

"Well, I was born. I am a twin. My twin was well and good, but I…let's just say I was incomplete," Decimo scratched his head, 'I was probably sleeping to the point that I didn't even dream. My body must have been a dead shell. The system that brought them to Universe Y must have to know that it was here, and its power would drive me to react and dream. It's not hard to calculate that if I run on lust and minimal emotions, I am going to end up getting someone pregnant. And that would force me to wake up. To know me to this level…Ashwood.'

"For that, the HDE told my mother a path. That was bringing me to this world and be born again. Even then, I was in a dreamlike state…going with the flow of life. Truth be told. It wasn't until you told me you are pregnant that I finally woke up," he took her palm, and Tsunade gripped his palm back, looking at him with a gentle gaze.

She brought his palm to her lips, kissing his fingers, "Ok…that sounds strange…but that explains so much. The way you were always blanking out…"

"Yeah…before this, the time between the two universes ran differently. One day there, to one year here. She was going to bring me back as soon as I woke up, but then I woke up because you were pregnant, and then Ai was born, and she knew she couldn't take away. So, they came up with a way to keep the gate between the two worlds always open. With that, the time between the two worlds will move at the similar rate. Though, since the difference was so big. It might take time before the two world synchronise."

"How long?"

"This is a guess, but maybe a decade or a decade and a half," Decimo put his hands together, "the problem is…by that time…Ai would grow up. They lost the chance to see me grow. The least that Tifa wants is to bring Ai over there. For us…we would lose 15 days of her life, but they would lose 15 years."

Tsunade looked towards her daughter, shaking her head, "15 years? No. You are asking too much of me. I don't even want to be away from her for 15 hours let alone 15 years."

"Yeah, yeah. I know," Decimo gently nodded, "that's why…I was thinking that you go with her."

"What?" Tsunade jerked her head back towards him, "You are not serious."

"I am," Decimo took a deep breath, "I have been thinking for a while. This world…is too chaotic. The wars keep going and going, and they are on the verge of sending Chunin in the battle. Maybe because I am not from this world…or my memories of before I woke up are hazy…I don't want my daughter to fight for her life when she is 12 or go into the war when she is 15. I want her to have a good life. That's why I can't go. I want to make this a world where she can come back to and grow up. That's why I can't go with you."

"Stop for a second," Tsunade held her head, "If that is so, then I would rather stay with you and help you. Rather than running away and hide with Ai."

"Tsunade," Decimo took her palm in his hand, kissing them, gently looking into her eyes, "Please. Understand."

"I can't…that's 15 Years…Nawaki is here. And he would never leave. 15 Years later…I can't just be out of his life! My team, teacher, students, everyone is here. The village will be a different place."

"Sorry, Tsunade. I know I am asking too much of you—"

"No," Tsunade took a deep breath, gently stroking his black hair, "I know you Dech. You tell me everything you do, even that comment about Danzo and Dan you made to Sensei. You told me that night…in fact…long ago you once told me that you could be manipulative, so I should always assume there is more to it and ask you."

"Did I say that? I must have been dreaming…oh I was."

"Not funny," Tsunade rolled her eyes, "Tell me…what are you hiding."

"Uh," Decimo sneakily looked away, "well, there is a chance that it might be more than 15 days…since everything till now were my assumptions. 15 days turn into a few years…I thought it would be best if you were by Ai. Also, their world is much more advanced than ours, and that means medical technology, and if you could take a few years and combine knowledge of chakra with that…your medical knowledge and technology would be a century more advanced when you come back. Sure, you might lose 15 years, but you will be much more useful when you come back. The reforms in this world's medical level you could initiate…they would be literally otherworldly."

"Damn you Dech, keeping that from me," Tsunade covered her face, taking deep breaths, "I need time to think about this."

"Mm, I got it," Decimo gently stroked her head when Tsunade couldn't help ask.

"I don't get it. You are from another world…you were dreaming…the only attachment you have to this world is Ai…and hopefully me. But you aren't trying to go back to your world. Or fight for this world, and now you even sending us away? Dech…what drives you? Why are you doing this?"

Decimo felt numerous thoughts race inside his head, the many reasons as to why he was staying here. It would be awkward for his family to see him all grown up. He might not fit with them. He might be a stranger in that home. He didn't want to kill without purpose. Hie was too strong, so fighting anyone in this world was like bullying them.

Tsunade was looking at her husband, and Ai stopped reading the book to look at her father, their eyes following him as he stood up in a single graceful motion. Tsunade couldn't help feeling her heart slow down, realising that she was looking at a different person than her husband. There was a smile on his lips, a wild insanity in his eye's scarlet eyes, "I woke up from a dream. I saw the world in my dream. Now I want the world in my dream. And I will make it mine. For that is who I am, who I was, who I will be."

He looked back, and the glimpse of the person that Tsunade saw all but disappeared. He was standing against the window, looking at her with a smile as he tilted his head, searching for him in her eyes. But she felt that it wasn't him. When she saw him a moment ago, he was like the unscalable mountain in front of her, and his eyes were elsewhere.

She shook her head, looking at him again, and she felt the person standing in front of her was a dream, an illusion, 'ah…I have…I never saw him for who he was before. He hid it. He always hid it from everyone. Even me.'

"I'll go," Tsunade abruptly muttered, and he nodded, walking over to his daughter. She felt for a moment that he was sad. She stood up, taking a deep breath, "That's why…when I come back. I want to know the real you. Will you…let me know the real you?"

"Yeah. I'd like that," Decimo crouched in front of Ai, gently kissing his daughter's head, who giggled. She sat up, kissing him back on his cheek, and he hugged her, "I will miss you, my baby girl. But I swear…when you come back…there will be so many stories for you."

"Papa?"

Decimo looked at her his daughter who didn't understand a thing, 'now that part of her is in a deep slumber. She isn't like a little grown up. I would have liked to see her grow up all over again.'

"Just…pack and take her before I change my mind," Decimo tilted his head to look up at Tsunade, who looked at the vulnerable look in his eyes. She pressed her lips and sat down on the couch beside her daughter. She stroked his head, pulling his head on her thighs, stroking his hair.

"Ok. Ok, I'll go."

And the Introduction Arc is Over!! Does this mean that the Story will move to MCU ARC? Hell no. Before Naruto is Born Arc is just starting. There is so much to do. Sadly, Tsunade won't be there. Also, you will find chapters here and there through Tsunade and Ai's eyes, meeting Decimo's Family in Marvel. I want to use this chance to slowly merge the two stories so the jump doesn't look sudden and transition is smooth.]
