After enacting the trap that Yue suggested. Avery, Yue, and Estel slowly made their way back to their village.

On their way back, Yue asked for her brother's opinion.

"Do you think they will fall for it big brother?"

"Hmm, if they sent out a low leveled goblin whose brain is not that developed enough then I am sure that they will for it."

"I hope they fall for it, it will surely buy us more time before our location is discovered."

"Don't worry too much, Little Yue. They will fall for it, even if it did not, we will make sure to be prepared for it."

"If you say so then, Big brother."

Back at the campsite, Yue suggested misleading the goblin that they will send out to search for the missing scouting party.

They destroyed the equipment and left tracks in another direction that will lead them further from where the village is located. Then they made sure that any tracks that led to their village were thoroughly erased. If everything works out fine, then the search party that the goblin's from the castle sent will be misled to the opposite direction thus giving them more time.

One might ask as to why not simply destroy all traces of goblin being there?

It is a valid question, but the problem is the fact that those goblins will discover the village that the scouting party massacred and eventually lead them in the direction the goblins headed. They would then move through the forest and eventually discover their village like how the goblin scouting party discovered them.

If they hid the battle and the traces of battle, they would still keep moving forward and still eventually find the village.

So apart from the time they would get from misleading them, they would lose nothing if the trap did not work. But that is not something he is worried about since he will make to that they will be prepared by the time they discover them.

If it did work, then they will have more time to build up their strength and raise their army. By the time they are discovered he and Yue would already be marching to the castle to clear them.

It was already nighttime by the time they arrived from the village. Avery was informed about the current situation and that they already handled the new elves that were summoned.

Avery had many plans that he wants to implement a soon as possible, but they have no more time and it was already nighttime inside the ascended world.

Since they have no more time for the day, Avery and Yue decided to go back to earth and rest. It was inconvenient but he had no choice. Until the Ascension Crystal is able to recharge its mana, he and Yue would not be able to stay for longer periods of time in the Ascended World.

"Ready?" Avery asked as he smiled at Yue standing in front of him.

"Yes, Big brother!" Yue cheerfully replied.

"System Log Out." Avery and Yue said at the same time.

[Conditions Met]

[Logging Out…]

As soon as the command was recognized, their bodies started glowing white as pieces of their bodies started body started disintegrated into particles of white light.

While their bodies were slowly disintegrating, they both thought of the same thing.

'Would that strange phenomenon happen again?' Avery and Yue thought.

Avery was slightly worried since he was not prepared for Yue to know about his marriage to that two-faced slut. Although he knew that she was going to understand, but he could not get rid of a small fear in him that she might not like it.

'What would she say when he revealed that he was previously married to that two-faced slut?'

Although it was a loveless marriage and he was able to scheme his way out of it, it could still be said that he married her.

Would Yue get angry?

*Sigh* 'I might be overthinking things, I know she would understand after I explain the full story.'

'I'll tell her after our relationship is established. If I were to assure her that she is the only person I love then she might not think much of that stupid marriage in the previous timeline'

Yue on the other hand wanted to know more details in his previous timeline.

'Would I learn something new about Big brother?'

She was excited about anything related to her Big brother. She might learn something new that she could use to get his love.

With that, they disappeared from the Ascended World with their own thoughts.

Avery slowly opened his eyes and saw the sealing of their room.

He sighed in relief, after knowing that the strange phenomenon that happened when they log out last time did not happen again.

He tried to move, only to feel that something was clinging to his arm.

He shifted his gaze to the right, only to see Yue staring at him with a smile plastered on her beautiful face as she hugged his right arm.

"Good Morning Big Brother!"

Seeing her beautiful sister greeting him as soon as he woke up brought a smile to his face.

"Good Morning Little Yue."

Seeing such a reaction from her big brother made Yue's smile brighter.

"Come on now, let's fix up and have breakfast."

"Hmm." Yue hummed happily in agreement.

After fixing themselves up and finishing breakfast, they then went back to work.

They gathered information from the news and forum to look at the current situation.

Not much was different from yesterday, apart from the government taking measures to tackle the damages.

While scrolling through the forum, Avery thought of something.

"Little Yue" Avery called out.

Yue who was looking through her phone, looked up to meet Avery's gaze, wondering why he called her.

"Yes, Big brother?"

"Do you still remember how to hack?"

"Hmm… yes, although my skills did not improve since it has been a while since I last touched a computer. I can still use the hacking that mother taught."

Sigh* 'It was a bit sad that she was not able to unleash her potential as a hacker. During the training their parents made them go through at a young age, Yue was not able to meet the expectation that they wanted for her to grow up to. Although she was smart she did not do well physically, so they decided to switch their approach and later on discovered that she had immense talent in computers.'

With that, they began to focus her growth to be like their mother who was considered as one of the highly respected hackers in the world. She was trained for 5 years before she was forced to stop due to the scheme that their relatives plotted against their family. Avery and Yue were forced to not touch anything related to the internet in fear of being tracked by their enemies and thus getting themselves killed.

"Will you be able to hack through the forum?" Avery asked as he showed Yue, his screen that displayed the Ascended Forum.

"Hmmm… it looks like it's not yet that developed, if you can get me a good computer then I should be able to hack it before it gets developed."

"I see… then I'll be relying on you, okay?"

"Of course! You don't have to ask, you can always rely on me." Yue said happily that her big brother was relying on her.

With that, Avery ordered the necessary equipment for Yue. It would not arrive till next week so he won't be able to proceed with his plan as of yet.

They then had some spare time before they needed to go back to the Ascended World, so Avery decided to spend the rest of the time with his sister.

They talked, reminisced about the past, and played some games together. They were both happy and in a great mood by the time they need to go back to the Ascended World to proceed with their plans.

They then went back to the bedroom and laid down as they prepared to go back.

After activating the Ascended Crystal, they then slowly lost consciousness and were brought to the Ascended World.

Sorry for the late chapter!

I wanted to ask your opinions. I felt like the pacing was a bit slow in the recent chapters, so I was thinking if I should speed it up. I have a lot of plans that I want to write but it will take a while to write them down if I go with the current pacing, especially with my current schedule.

If I do speed up the pacing then, I'll be forgoing some of the minor details (Like how every small thing works) and speed it up. Though I could assure you that the pacing of the romance would still be the same since I do quite enjoy writing their small interactions. But if there is something important going to happen then, I'll make sure to slow things down.

Personally, I was thinking of speeding things up. If you feel like it is too fast then I can slow things down. So what do you guys think? (Please do comment so I can hear your thoughts)
