Level Ups

Hi!! Sorry if it was a bit late but here is the chapter! I was very busy and even considered postponing this chapter to next week.... but ultimately decided against it.

I found time and sneaked this chapter in my busy schedule to give you guys a chapter this week, so there might be some mistake so forgive me.

Avery, Yue, and Estel can be seen surrounding a pile of items in front of them.

"These are all the items so far your majesties." Estel said.

"Hmm… a bunch of worn-out equipment and some coins." Yue said as she looked over the items.

"Nothing really worthy except for the coins." Avery said.

Avery then walked over to the pile of items and took the coins.

"How about these pieces of equipment, your majesties?" Estel inquired.

"We can't really use them. The leather is all ripped and worn out, repairing them would do no good as creating a new one would be much cheaper." Yue said.

"Right. Plus bringing them with us would only prove to be a hassle. We do not have anything to carry them with us." Avery agreed.

"Let's just take the coins and burn the rest." Avery continued.

"Nn." Yue agreed.

Avery then raised his hand and pointed it towards the pieces of equipment. A small fireball starts to form as he launched it at the broken pieces of equipment.

"Hm? those goblins gave quite the amount of exp." Yue said.

"Right." Avery agreed. "Fighting someone who is a higher level than you does give you bonus exp."

"Yes. Your majesty is right. I earned four levels from the fight just now." Estel supported his claim.

They then checked their stats out.

"Hmm… Looks like the system acknowledge and registered the skills I used." Avery said.

It makes him a bit sad as his status and skills in the past timeline did not come with him. He lost everything he had built from the past.

Though he did not mind as he was able to reunite with his sister. Something as his stats in the past is nothing worthy compared to his sister. For him, his sister is all that mattered. As long as he gets to be with her then he would gladly give up everything he had in the past. There was even a time when he thought of just escaping everything from the moment he was reunited with her. But he knew that it was not an option, as there are threats in the future that could separate them if he did not do anything. He needed power and a strong army capable of protecting his sister.

Even though he lost his past strength, he still remembers the execution and steps necessary to perform the skills he had in the past. As long as he performed them once, then the system would automatically recognize those skills and add them to his status.

The only limiting factors are his stats, strength, agility, mana, and etc. There are certain stat points that he need to meet before being able to perform stronger and more complex skills and spells. The only ones he can use now are the one that does not require much from him, like the Fireball, it was a simple spell that required a small amount of mana.

Nothing much has changed aside from the increase in level and additional spells she executed. She was able to create Mana Bullet which is a lot cheaper in terms of mana compared to the cheapest spell she used in the past: the fireball.

Currently, she wants to improve on this spell. She quite liked the penetrating power of the Mana Bullet. Plus if she makes minor adjustments to the spell then she would be able to freely control them as she launches the spell at her enemies, this would allow her to hit enemies in complex terrains.

She could also add elements and other attributes to the spell. Just thinking of the wide range of possibilities of magic excites her. She sought knowledge, and as a being considered as a genius on earth, she naturally knew a lot already. Now she finds something new and unknown with unlimited possibilities.

The best thing is that she gets to do all this with her big brother. They could explore the magic and unravel the secrets of magic together.

In the past, they used to read and study together. She loved those times.

Doing something you like by yourself is nice and all, but doing it together with the one you loved is the best.

However, something happened in the past that prompted her big brother to distance himself from her.

She was confused and felt sad when that happened.

She did not know why her big brother started distancing himself from her. She thought that she did something wrong that made her big brother hate her.

Though that idea was dispelled when her big brother confronted her and said that she did nothing wrong and that he did not hate her.

Even with that, it still did not stop him from distancing from her even if she approached him over and over again. By that time, the happy time they spent together lessened and lessened until it was nonexistent.

She was pained and sad. She would often cry herself to sleep as her big brother refused to spend time with her. She hid the sadness and pain from her big brother as she thought it make things worse if he saw her like that.

After a while, the storm has finally passed and the sun came back shining brightly.

Everything change once again on that day. A happy change this time.

It was so sudden for her. One day her brother was still distancing himself from her, then the following day he changed and destroyed that distance he built himself. He refused to be separated from her.

Honestly, she was surprised, even though he changed she could still tell that it was still the big brother she loved.

She was happy that he spends more time with her and even flirted with her! She loved every second of those moments.

She later came to know that he came from the future. She was shocked, but it finally clicked on her. She can now understand the sudden change.

Like she said, even though he changed, it was still the same big brother she loved inside. No matter what happened, she would still love him.

Now, they are in this new world with new stuff to explore. She could finally go back to the time where they did all things together, and maybe… maybe they could be much more this time around.

Her level is much higher compared to Yue and Estel since she started at level five while the other two were at level 2 and 3 when the fight broke out.

Estel did not have many skills as she was focused on mastering her use of the bow while getting used to her current skills set first.

As an archer, she needs to focus and practice her skills at using a bow. What would be the use of her skills if she did not know how to efficiently use a bow?

Plus, if she were able to properly wield a bow then the skills would follow.

She would be more comfortable and have more freedom in wielding the bow which would allow her to make full use of the strength of her skills.

After checking their current status from the system it was finally time to move.

"Let's go. We still have to check their campsite for anything useful." Avery said as both Yue and Estel nodded.

They then start to walk in the direction of the campsite.
