02 : Quarrel

"Hi," Chester greeted.

A silent room is what welcome him. He look around only to see two person. Usually there would be three people here. The pres, Leo and Steve. Frowning, he went on a long chair and sit beside Leo— their grade level representative. They're currently in student council's office spending their lunch time there.

"Hey Leo, what's with the pres?" Chester whispered.

"I don't know, ask him yourself," Leo whispered back.

The place— no, actually it is the president whom so silent that even Chester and Leo's whisper can be heard.

"He look serious I don't want to bother him," he excused but the truth is, he don't want to talk to Dave thinking it might be in a bad mood.

"He's like that since morning after what happen between Karina and Steve," said Leo.

"What happen between those two? I regret waking up late today, really." Chester pouted.

I shouldn't read bl story 'til 3 am.

"Karina and Steve kissed this morning."

"WHAT?!" The lad shouted out of shock.

He close his mouth shut with his bare hand as soon as he realize what he did. Leo, on the other hand, pull Chester's hand to make him sit again.

"Are you trying to kill us? What's with shouting, huh?!"

"I-I'm sorry, I just can't believe in what you said. Are you sure they kissed, as in kiss with tongue? Their lips touch?"

"Actually..." Leo scratch the back of his neck hesitating.

"we just saw that their face are really close to each other. We didn't saw if they indeed kiss because Karina's hair is blocking our view." He continued causing a palm-face from Chester.

"So you just misunderstood it and claim they kissed?" The representative nodded a little ashame.

"Misunderstood what?" Steve popped up out of no where.

"Steve, where have you been?" The treasurer asked.

"I asked him to accompany me in the canteen. My friend is sick that's why," Karina answered in place of Steve.

"Is it true you two kis-

Leo didn't able to finish his sentence when Chester shut his mouth saying, "Have some shame, will you?!"

"We didn't."

"Then why didn't you deny it when the class start to talk about it?"

"Why would I? It'll make me more suspicious."

"You shouldn't let them misunderstood, what would they think of you now?" Finally, Dave spoke.

"I don't mind. It's not like their opinion is important," said Steve.

"What if they start a rumor or worst what if they reported it to the teacher? At least say deny it. You too Karina don't just get close to Steve like that, don't be so careless."

Steve was about to speak when Dave added, " Mind your action, Steve. Don't be so selfish, think about the people surrounds you. It's not always about you. I'm off," Dave grab his bag and left.

The room engulfed with the booming silent. They all just stare at the door where Dave walk out sharing one thought,

"What was that?"

"He look pissed." Leo point out.

"He look jealous rather." Chester whispered.

"What?"

"Nothing. I said you should talk to him, Steve."

"I will after class."
