Just The Beginning

Dawn had past in New Jersey, a new day had set up... Rae stood up off his bed and yawns. The morning breeze blew in from the mini porch of Rae's condo unit. The breeze was felt and gave shivers down Rae's spine. He goes to his kitchen and start making coffee.

"Mike!" Rae shouts waking his buddy up.

Mike was still in bed. As soon as he heard his bud's shout, he immediately covered his head with his pillow. "Ughhh..." he complains.

"Mike wake up!" Rae shouts again but this time he was louder.

Mike positioned himself sitting down his bed. "I'm up!" he shouts back.

Rae, Rae Aaron Howard. A young man who is determine to be independent. He does everything according to his will. He never looks at their family status back in new york. Howard family belongs to city Elites in New York, Uptown Manhattan. Rae prefers to be more free and he loves to explore.

Mike Evans, a well known bad boy back in highschool. He was the best athlete in his school who could do countless sports. He wasn't just a normal person too, the Tyler family runs a big business here in New Jersey. Unlike Rae, he likes being dependent but loves to go to different states.

Coincidentally, both guys were assigned to the same condo unit by the university. They've lived together for almost a month and as if they were together for a long time, they were already close. Who was to blame? With Rae's polite attitude and alluring smiles with Mike who was fun to talk to at the same time silly? Both did pretty good in terms of communication, which made their relationship much more stable.

Mike stood up and went to the rest room, meanwhile Rae was preparing coffee for both of them and setting the TV on. Mike finished his duties and headed down stairs. He greeted Rae good morning.

"Good morning to you too. I've made you coffee." Rae replied pointing his finger to his coffee while watching the TV.

Mike scratched his head. "What time are we leaving anyways?" he asks.

"Sometime soon. Hurry up with your coffee and start cleaning up. " Rae replies. Mike nodded mockingly.

Rae finishes his last slurp and gave a salute to Mike. He headed to his room and started cleaning up. Mike saw the news about some person who he knew and laughed. Jordan Owens, a long time friend of Mike who was advertised in the news for being the top Young Models in the whole world. Another one was about his family, it stated that their business is growing and growing. Not that Mike was surprised, he knew exactly that their business was growing and grew more relaxed. He never worries for the future now that his family had already prepared him a spot.

Mike's parents only expected him to finish college, which he found very irritating because he never wanted to go to school. He was smart, athletic, and rich. But he was too arrogant and cocky that he doesn't want to continue school. Sadly for him, he was forced by his Father who was very strict about school.

Rae on the other hand. His parents trusted him when he left their house and started his new journey alone. He already works part time and pays all his dues alone. He also got his scholarship here in New Jersey, Princeton University. All he had to worry was his roommate's mess.

An hour passed before the two guys finished preparing. Rae wore his uniform meanwhile like what Mike is, he didn't even think about wearing his. He wore his loose shirt and skinny jeans.

Rae scanned Mike's outfit for a minute before he spoke. "What is that?"

"That is that," Mike replied but didn't face his friend. "Let's get going, It's like 9 in the morning." He watched his expensive F.P. Journe watch worth at least 150,00$.

Rae didn't mind it and continued to leave. Mike followed as the two goes to their parked vehicles.

Mike headed towards his new Lamborghini Veneno, while Rae headed towards his Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita given by his dad. Two unbelievably rich kids. Rae supposedly didn't want to use his car and wanted to take a bus but his dad forced him to use it on his first day. Mike excitedly caressed his Lamborghini and sat inside it. Both of their vehicles were inside the VIP parking lot making it secure.

"Race?" Mike faced Rae asking him eagerly.

"No!" Rae protested.

"Boring." Mike rolled his eyes off Rae.

"Your going to get a ticket." Rae mumbled to himself.

As soon as they left the parking lot of Avalon Princeton, lots of people stared at both of their cars and started picturing. It wasn't just a normal day where you see such extravagant cars beside each other. The two headed down the Princeton University. It took them 10 minutes to reach in Lot 15 of Princeton University. They both parked their car at the same time and went down. Everyone stared at both freshman student and some whispered while others giggled.

They both walked together down the hall as they go to their respective classes. They took the same course and they ended up having the same classes. Both sat together as the first day started. Syllabus Day as they call it every first day of college.
