Dylan finally came to understand that This Place was of supernatural origin, and he became even more afraid as he realized that, like everyone else in their town, he believed that if a person saw a tree in their dream, they were possessed.

Dylan tried to avoid going anywhere near the steam of those branches. He refused to go anywhere near the tree. But every time he tried to turn around and run, he would see this particular majestic and magnificent tree—so bright that it would light up an entire country from his perspective.

Dylan would exclaim in wonder at how giant this tree was and how he wasn't able to see the tree that was right in front of him from the beginning. "No, this tree was not here," he said. "I don't understand! How is this possible?" he said immediately.

A voice answered immediately, saying, "We have been watching you, Dream Walker... Long have we watched the multiple possibilities of many dreamers... None have caught our attention like you have." The voice spoke simultaneously.

"What do you mean by multiple possibilities for many dreamers?" asked Dylan.

"We are not here to answer any questions. All knowledge will be inherited by the one who inherits the name of Somnus," said the ominous voice.

"I'm not taking or accepting anything from anyone, not especially a tree." Dylan said it in a very aggressive manner.

The tree then told Dylan to touch its root. "Everything would be explained the moment you touched the root of the tree," said the ominous voice.

Dylan didn't hesitate or care if it was a trap or not because he himself was curious; his curiosity always had a greater impact on his subconscious. He immediately touched the tree root, and in that moment, Dylan saw it all.
