Chapter Thirty-Nine

   "No Athena around this time," the War Goddess hissed as she pressed her dagger harder against Amanda's throat, "Now we can have some real fun!"

   "Get away from her Enyo," Hekate wanted to sound threatening but the poison was still coursing through her body, Percy's healing powers had helped to ease her pain but she was still weak and the earth was spinning.

   "Oh no, I don't think so Hekate," Enyo's hair flew wildly around her as she shook her head violently, and gripped Amanda's hair tighter as she pulled the dagger away from her throat for a moment, her tongue darted out licking up the blood on the dagger, "Mmmm..." she looked at Amanda curiously, "There's something different about this mortal," she looked back at Hekate, "Your choice Hekate, come with me now or the mortal will die and you will come with me anyway."
