Chapter Forty-Five

   "Where is it Kate?" he took a few quick steps towards her but before he could get within arms reach Ollie was standing in front of her.

   "Calm down Hermes, she just got back and you are already drilling her."

   Kate put a hand on his shoulder and lightly pushed him out of her way with a look, "Thank you Ollie, but I can handle myself," she narrowed her eyes at Hermes, "He does not scare or intimidate me." The god only stared at her, his eyes full of doubt made her anger flare. "You have no control over what I do with my necklace," she finished.

   He heaved a dramatic sigh before his body visibly relaxed giving a chuckle, "I apologize, it was a surprise is all, I can't recall any vessels ever losing the necklace before," he ran a hand uncomfortably through his hair.
