1. Evil Wife and Cheater Husband

"Yes father... Yes... I still need to recover."

Her father continuously talked and ranting. She can barely hear what he says. Her body still hurts everywhere but what hurts her most is her loneliness.

Her father's shout made her head spin again.

"Father....."

She tries to make her father stop talking and listen to her. But it doesn't seem to work. The more her father talked, the more the sound 'Bang' echoed in her head.

She can't bear it anymore. She need sleep not some stupid ranting from person who doesn't care about her. She shouted her anger out to her father.

"Father!!!"

Seems this one has worked because her father instantly becomes silent.

"Can we talk about this later? I still need to recover."

Her father remains silent, she looks a little bit glad. For almost two weeks she's been laying in that hard bed. And this is the seventh time her father called her from abroad. From a nice and warm condolence to a crazy shout like a mad old man looking at his pet. Making her pain more miserable.

"Nadine.... Where is your husband?"

Nadine can't answer her father. She became silent. That silent treatment made her father let his anger out again.

"Is he with his mistress again!!!"

Without emotion she just stared at the window beside her. Counting how many leaves that happily fall from the tree, they look like dancing with the wind. So different compared to her condition. Lonely, sad and angry filling her spacious room.

"How dare he not be with you right now!!"

His voice echoed in that silent room along with the 'tik tok' sound from the clock.

"He just lost his daughter!!! How come that jerk is not with you!"

"Son..."

That one word made her father become speechless again.

"Nadine..."

Her father became soft again hearing her crooked voice. His anger suddenly disappeared.

"Are you done father?"

Nadine doesn't receive any answer.

"You are the same as him. You are not with me right now. You are never with me. You just want to make sure that he won't make any scandal right?"

She just ended her call like that. Leaving her worried father without explanation. She saw someone behind her door from the beginning of her call.

"You can come in."

The nurse came to check on her. Nadine's facial expression remains the same.

"Sorry to make you wait. When will I be discharged from here?"

The nurse looked a little bit confused but answered her with a warm smile.

"I just arrived a minute ago. And you can leave this afternoon."

Then she leaves her again with her loneliness. But when someone comes again, she really hopes that her husband comes to pick her. But it's impossible since she's the one who made their baby go.

"Miss... Sir Henry has ordered us to come and pick you."

In front of her, there are three people, two men and one petite woman. She looks older than Nadine but his small statue makes her look young.

"Oh Anna. Are you sure my father has ordered you? Or you are the one who is pitying me?"

Anna doesn't answer anything, she just stands there and waits for Nadine's order.

"Haaah... Okay... Just pack anything and we will leave this afternoon. Do it quietly... I will take a little nap."

"Yes Miss!"

She moves everything into Nadine's suitcase. This entire week she is the one who is taking care of Nadine. She is the one who knows the strong and independent Nadine Merrick crying every night cursing her foolish decision.

"Sleep well Nana."

Hearing her soothing voice, she slowly drifted into the dream world. In that world her warm husband will greet her with a smile everyday. But suddenly everything changes because she is too greedy, and suddenly her husband leaves her with his mistress.

"What's mine, forever will be mine. Especially you Adrian!"

She just wanted to threaten him first. That she will abort his baby if he's not coming home. But who knows that her madness took over her. So she decided to take so many sleeping pills.

In her dream she is seeing a cute little boy with his round cheek crying holding her sleeve. But rage still took over her.

"Huh! Love? Your father doesn't love you! Then why would I?"

Now his chubby hand pulled her hand and cried so hard. He pulled her hand to stop Nadine from taking those pills.

"But I do love you mom!"

Nadine pushed the boy so hard that he fell to the ground. Nadine doesn't seem to have any sympathy, she just laughs loudly.

"I don't need your love. I thought if I have you, your father will love me. But it doesn't work that way, child. So I think I will get rid of you!"

That boy ran to Nadine again and prevented her from taking those pills. But everything is late. Nadine took the pills and the boy just said goodbye with his sad face.

"Mom... Goodbye... Till we meet again, I will always love you. And daddy will always treasure you."

Suddenly her world crumbled apart, regret suddenly filling her chest. And desperate with his leaving, she shouts as loud as she can to call his baby boy.

"NO!!!! DON'T GO!!!!!"

Everything is dark and cold. She can't hear everything and see nothing.

"Miss!!!!"

Somehow she can hear someone calling.

"Miss!!!!!"

That's Anna's voice, but she can't see anything.

"Nana!!!"

Now she calls her nickname that her parents usually called when she was child.

"Nana wake up!!!"

The last word made her suddenly wake. Anna's cute face was tainted by worries and scare. She grips her arm so strongly until it feels numb. But then she remembered her dream.

Her eyes became cloudy again but this time she is not crying. She takes off Anna's grip and begins to be so determined.

"It's time... Let's go home. I have to settle our account."

Anna steps back and obeys her order. Anna prepares Nadine change and begins to leave that scary room.

Her red burn cheek looks so painful. But she is still smiling sweetly to him.

"My husband's house Adi.."

He suddenly felt a little bit relaxed hearing that name coming from her.

"Adrian... Don't call me that."

That woman still wants to cool off the tension and tease Adrian again.

"So Nadine can call you that?"

Adrian looks annoyed when she mentions that name.

"Olivia..."

"Okay... Okay... Give up. Just treat my wound."

Adrian looks satisfied with Olivia's decision.

"I have medicine in my room. Let's go there."

Without their knowing, Nadine has just arrived at that big house. She is just a minute away from them and when she is just in front of her husband's door, she hears a voice that she hates so much.

"You're really reckless... Your cheeks are more puffy than before."

"Ha ha.... Isn't it more cute Adi."

Hearing someone other than her call Adrian's nickname made her blood boil again.

She opens the door furiously and with her menacing look asks them calmly.

"Oh... So you have the guts to bring your mistress here, Adi."

She presses the tone when she calls Adrian's nickname. Adrian shot Nadine with his death glare.

"Uh... Uhm.. Nadine.. He just helped me to treat my wound."

Nadine walks to Olivia and grabs her jaw. Pressed her cold hand to her face and nailed her red cheek.

"Hiish...."

Seeing Olivia feeling the pain. Nadine just snickering and throwing her face away.

"You just lost your baby and you want to make another one, Adi?"

Olivia seems so shocked hearing Nadine's words.

"Adrian? Is that true?"

Adrian looks mad then shields Olivia from Nadine threat.

"She is the one who took the baby away."

Nadine just shows her facade face but Adrian words piercing her broken heart.

"Olivia, I will send you to your parent house after I settle my matter with this evil."

Nadine snickering again and with her cold words she just blurted out the word that made Adrian more angry.

"Me? Evil? That's better than a cheater husband."

Adrian took his anger by dragging her out from his room. He shoved her without mercy and Nadine hit the wall.

Her pride is bigger than her pain. She stood so proudly facing her husband. Her admiration for his warm attitude has gone away a long time ago. Now she just sees a man with a cold face protecting his lover from his evil wife.

"We will settle our account when I'm back. You seem not in good condition right now."

Again she mocked her husband's words.

"Like you care! We can settle here, right now. I've lost everything so there's not much left that I wanna hold."

She is staring at her husband's honey eyes searching for the warm gaze that he always gives whenever he sees Olivia's smile.

But she just sees a pool of cold lake in his eyes.

"If you have never been in my life, you wouldn't have lost it all."

Desperate, angry, jealousy burns her logic. Her usually calm demeanor losing its track, she finally breaks down in front of her dreamy husband.

"I know you will blame me! Ha ha ha...."

Adrian remains silent and doesn't want to confront his broken wife.

"Who won't blame evil like me? The one who forced you in this hell marriage is me!"

Seeing Nadine begin to be frustrated again, Adrian tries his best to calm her down.

"Nadine..."

But it just fuels her fire.

"Who is the one that made your former lover marry a jerk like Alex? Huh? Me!!"

Olivia hears Nadine is shouting his husband's name but she is just so scared to get out of that room.

"Calm down..."

He is trying to grab Nadine's arm but she is refusing his touch.

"And then who is the one who manipulated your aunt's treatment so it became late?"

Adrian is still trying to grab Nadine but she always shoves his hand. And begin frantically like a mad man.

"Na-....."

Nadine shushes Adrian, stopping him from spilling any word.

"Ssssh... Let me talk. I'm not done yet Adi. Please...."

Pleading with her teary eyes, she just wants to let out her frustration. She begins stepping back, scared that Adrian will catch her.

"And can you guess who is the one who made your father's cute little company break?"

Adrian wants to make a comment but Nadine stops him again.

"Ssssh... Ssssh let me guess... Oh it's me again. And for that, I've got a bonus that will lead your father to death. Ha ha ha..."

Adrian steps forward to hold Nadine but she still rejects his action. On the other hand she steps back further away nearly at the end of stairs.

"Adii.... I'm tired of getting your attention."

Her voice becomes too weak, her small shoulder shaking because she is beginning to sob. Adrian who knows this is his chance, took his step to his mad wife who will fall any minute if she took the wrong step. But it's too late, Nadine pushes Adrian further away and begins shouting again.

"And guess who killed your innocent baby boy Adi?"

With her broken smile and her hoarse voice she answers her own question.

"It's me! Me Adi! This mess happened because of me!!!"

Adrian quickly ran away to grab her because he knew that she would fall if she kept moving backward. But when she ends her sentences it is likely she wants to end her life too. She took one step back and began to fall on the cold stairs. She doesn't know how many times she bumped on those sharp edge stairs or how many times her head hit the stairs. She just sees her world spinning and stops when she reaches the bottom of the stairs.

"If I knew I would lose all of it, I would have let you go from the beginning."

Those were the last words Nadine said before collapsing from falling down the stairs. But her mind still remains awake.

'Maybe I will meet the Lord of Hell.'

Nadine thought it was the end of her life. And when she opened her eyes, hell would await her.

"Wait.. why is hell so comfortable?"

With her eyes still closed she is touching the soft fluffy fabric that covers her body. And when he opens her eyes she sees the ceiling at top of her face seems identical with the one that decorates her gorgeous room.

"And why is it similar to my room?"

She is trying to touch her head, body and her arm. Because the last time she remembers, she is bouncing all over the stairs like a free ball falling from a mountain.

"Huh! No pain."

She immediately searched for her phone to turn off her alarm. When she found it and turned it off, she seemed to have a heart attack.
