Raiding the village.

'My Reaper?'

{Affirmative, it would seem the grim reaper is currently in battle.}

Luminis sighed, "Of course she is." He blurted out.

"Awwwn, and I was just getting to the good part." Elixa pouted, taking a step back from Luminis before locking her arms behind her back and asking, "So, what's bothering you this time?".

Luminis turned to her,

"Say… are you willing to fight if I told you to?" He asked.

Elixa was a bit taken aback by the question, but she was quick to show a smile, "If you asked me to take my own life… I'd do it without a second thought." She replied.

"I… wouldn't ask you to go that far, but… if you say you're willing to, then please come with me." Luminis spoke, and with that he began moving towards the elves.

"Hai hai!" Elixa followed behind him.

"Okay, okay, I think we've chit chatted enough, keep this up and your village won't be standing anymore." Luminis chimed in, standing in the middle of the elves.

Darca, who was still trying to hold back his sobs, looked up at Luminis, his eyes widened a bit.

"You're…."

"Yes, the man who promised to show you people the biggest miracle you've ever seen." Luminis spoke, now bending down in front of the elf.

"Listen, I want to give you a task, and I want to believe I can trust you to carry it out to the very end."

"A task?"

"Yes." Luminis stretched his arm to the side, and immediately, a scythe formed, one gleaming with dark magic.

Once he had grabbed the scythe, he leaned it towards Darca and spoke,

"I'm lending you my weapon, just in case anything goes wrong, but I'll be going to chase the bad people away, so until then, I want you to keep your brothers and sisters safe and hidden, and do not come out no matter what… can I trust you?".

Darca stared at the scythe for a while, the magical light reflecting in his eyes,

"I don't think…"

"Darca." Luminis called out to him again, trying to clear any doubt he might have.

Darca, although still feeling anxious, decided to take Luminis offer, he grabbed the scythe, and slowly rose to his feet.

"I.. won't let you down."

Luminis stood up too.

He smiled, "Good, I'm counting on you."

With that, he turned to Elixa and Alpha who were sitting on a rock, a place where she could get a good view of what was happening in the village.

"Let's go pay our friends a visit." Luminis uttered, facing the direction of the village and Elixa more than willing to follow him.

…..

Back at the village, multiple people dressed in army looking uniforms had raided the place, each one holding a weapon in their hands.

They had gathered the remaining elves who were still in the village, unaware of the danger that was awaiting them.

Like criminals, these elves were rounded up one by one and tied side by side one another in the middle of the village.

The soldiers were cutting down leaf buildings, burning anything they could find invaluable while screaming,

"Where's the old man!!!".

The seven female elves who were tied up could not be more terrified than they were at the moment, they were shivering, knowing there was a chance these people would take them and sell them as slaves.

But throughout the whole scene, there was one particular person who just sat on the high horse, observing everything that was happening.

She was one of the generals leading the demon army, a woman with long purple hair, purple eyes and was wearing an army outfit fitting of her position with a soldier hat.

One of the demon soldier suddenly ran in front of her, bowing his head, he reported,

"Lady Rosario, it seems most of the elves are missing, we were only able to find a few females, and that was about it." The soldier reported.

Rosario sighed, "Have you searched beyond the trees?"

"N-No sire." The soldier spoke, almost shitting his pants, it's not news that their lady strikes down people when she feels a slight discomfort.

"Then send some men to search it, we are not leaving this place until we take back every single one of them to the capital." Rosario command, all while still holding her stoic expression.

"As you wish." The soldier instantly ran, informing the rest of his colleague.

"Disgusting weak elves giving more trouble than I need, honestly, why did the mistress put me in charge of this, it's always so boring," Rosario muttered under her breath.

"Ahhhhhh!!!"

Rosario suddenly heard a scream,

She instantly turned her gaze towards the source, and there she could see a lady, with clothes covering her body and her black hair dancing in the wind.

She had grabbed one of the soldiers by the neck and was squeezing the life out of him with one hand and holding a dark scythe on the other, while the remaining soldiers were scared to go near her.

"Bad people?" The lady muttered and without a second thought, the lady snapped the neck of the soldier.

"Bitch!!!" Another soldier yelled, dashing towards the lady with fire dancing around his sword.

The lady, in the blink of an eye, slashed her scythe and the soldier's body could be seen slicing into multiple pieces.

This made the remaining soldiers back off, their eyes widened in shock as blood rained from the sky.

"Oh?" Rozairo, already curious about who this person was, leaped down from her horse, the soldiers behind her all smiling, excited to see her in action.

Landing on the ground, she immediately pulled out her sword, but before she could even take a step, she noticed a bright glint from far away.

Immediately knowing what it was, her eyes widened as she suddenly placed a barrier in front of her only for a powerful fire blast to hit it a second later.

The blast was so powerful, the ground got scorched, debris flying everywhere and Rosario's barrier shattering into tiny pieces, luckily, she was still able to leap back to avoid the full force.

While still in mid air, her eyes picked up on the three people who were now standing in front of the captive elf.

Luminis, a grin on his face looked at her and uttered with an upside down thumb's up,

"Hello there, trespassers".
