Team 7 Part 1

Seven years passed, and Yuki and Hinata, now twelve years old, had grown up into beautiful young ladies. During this time, they did not show much of their prowess. This was something Kakashi advised them against. While they stayed at the top of their class through the years, this made it so no one could look down on the two. Even during graduation, things went smoothly for almost everyone in the class except one person, Naruto.

Yuki felt bad for him, but he did not seem to have good chakra control. She tried to explain it a few times but was unable to explain it well enough. Hinata, on the other hand, snubbed him, not willing to teach him anything.

During this time Yuki had killed thirty hollows. The number appearing as of late seemed to be picking up, causing both her and Rukia to worry that something might be wrong. But besides that both she and Hinata had trained every day and had really learned quite a bit over the years. Even Yuki's kido was coming along nicely.

Currently, it was the day everyone would be meeting their Jonin sensei. As they had graduated to become genin, it was now time for them to get some practical training out in the field. And this meant killing people for the first time….

"I hope we are on the same team…." Hinata said as the two walked into their classroom.

"Yuki!!! Look, I made it too!" Naruto yelled out as he came running over to Yuki and Hinata as they entered the door.

"Naruto, I told you to stay away from Yuki! Why are you even here anyway!? Didn't you fail!?" Hinata pursed her lips and furrowed her brow as she crossed her arms across her chest. He had thought this pain, who was always trying to get near her Yuki, would be gone but now….

"Haha! I am just so amazing that they said they made a mistake and passed me!" Naruto said proudly with his nose raised in the air.

Hinata wanted to retort, but Yuki pulled her to the side. "Let's go in. We are blocking the door. And Naruto, congratulations on passing."

"Hehe! I knew Yuki cared about me the most!" Rubbing his nose, Naruto had a big grin on his face as he followed the two girls.

As the two sat down, a loud scream came from all the girls in the room. "Sasuke!"

"Let us through!" Another yell came from behind the group of girls as both Ino, and a pink haired girl pushed their way through the gaggle of girls.

"You know, I wonder what would have happened if I did not meet you, Yuki. Right Sakura?" Ino asked as she helped pull Sakura forward.

"To be honest, I did find him cute when I was younger, but over the years, I slowly realized his true face. He cares about nothing but getting revenge and beating Yuki." Sakura replied with a sigh as she sat on the bench behind Yuki before reaching over and hugging her. "Good morning Yuki!"

"Ah! Sakura, no getting ahead! I haven't said good morning yet!" Ino also joined in on the fun. Yuki, who sat there being rocked back and forth, sighed. She did not know why these two found it fun to hug her every morning to the point they would fight over it.

Over the years, Sakura was always getting picked on by the other kids because of her forehead. Ino stepped in and yelled at the kids, and brought her into the small circle of friends that consisted of her, Hinata, Yuki, Naruto, and Shikamaru.

"Ne, ne where is Shikamaru." Naruto asked as he sat down. But almost jumped back up in fright when a voice came from behind him.

"Right here…." Shikamaru yawned as he sat up. "I had planned to take a nap but those girls woke me up."

"Shikamaru, no girls will like a lazy bum." Ino teased.

"Then so be it. I have no need to be with a girl who screams out like a crazy person over a boy who is obviously not interested." Shikamaru said with a yawn.

"Let them be. They will soon realize that all their fuss will be for nothing. We are all about to begin our missions, and with that comes danger, no matter what kind of mission it is. While genin missions may be easier, there may be a time when we will need to fight or even kill our opponents. Our job is to protect Konoha against all those who dare to try to harm it and fulfill our mission's goals." Yuki said as she leaned back and looked at the three behind her.

"Yuki is right. If we are not careful, it will be us who may end up dead." Hinata added.

"Yuki, has anyone ever told you that you act much older than you should?" Shikamaru asked.

"It's because I am an old soul in a young body. Although this may keep people from wanting to marry me in the future." Yuki joked.

"No! I am sure there are many people who would fall in love with someone as great as you, Yuki!" Hinata said with rosy cheeks. She lowered her head after she realized she had just shouted her words.

Yuki smiled and hugged Hinata's arm as she said teasingly: "Then I will just need to marry you, Hinata!"

"What, no! What about me!? Am I not good enough!? I am standing right here. I will always welcome you with open ar… Oof!" Naruto yelled out before Hinata could even have a chance to bask in Yuki's words causing her to throw a sharp punch into his stomach.
