The mall was also just in the area. He hesitated a bit but I mentioned we would just try a bit of everything but pick out the best one he was elated. He tried on so many different clothes, I just lost count.

I in secret told the service lady to have everything he tried on, ready to go and send it to my address in the evening. We went to different stores; clothes, shoes, jewelry, and sports. I got him a new phone in secret when I noticed he didn't have one with him. I got it wrapped up and I carried it with me.

"So, we should go home. I tried everything that looked decent. That was so much fun. I loved the receptionist's faces when we left for the next store. They were shocked but all the same just respectfully waved us good bye. Some even though it was sweet. Would you believe it?? That was funny."

"...Yeah."

"What is up with your reaction?"

"Nothing~ Haha. It's just fun to see you excited at the stupidest of stuff. Maybe I should take you to other malls?"

"Totally. I am loving it."

"Okay. Let's go home."

We got home a bit before evening. We ate something simple and sat in the living room. He made us cold drinks to cool off. We just sat in silence. It wasn't an awkward silence. I loved this silence. I just knew he was there if I wanted to talk. He would listen. I just felt at peace.

We had finally caught up after a long time. We realized how much each of us had changed. Our demeanor and temperament and hobbies. Our likes and dislikes. Our newly found talents etc.

It has been a bit over one week since summer break started. So we didn't get the answer for going to university. I personally didn't need to go to university but it would be suspicious with no work record when you live independently in a millions worth apartment. I needed to show I had work and qualifications. I needed to go to university for that. It made me curious about Caleb's plans.

"Caleb. Do you have any courses you are planning to study?"

"Not particularly but my family would want me to study law. It's not my thing but I don't hate it. You?"

"Well I was thinking of applying for data science or calculus."

"Oof. You must be good at math, huh?"

"I guess."

"Then tell me your last score in the math test."

"A+"

"You guess? You are amazing at math."

"You know what I do contains lots of math right?"

"First I have heard that. I thought you just need to press keys on the computer."

"...You're hopeless." I facepalmed.

"Which school did you apply to?" Caleb asked.

"The Higher university near here. I can commute from here and it's pretty convenient. I think I will also receive a scholarship for that."

"Oh. I got an offer there as well. Maybe we should go to the same school. I mean if you let me stay with you. I would love to."

"...You really are shameless. I would require you to pay rent, just so you know." I said half annoyed by the way he saw my place as his.

"That won't be an issue." Is what he replied. I looked at him suspiciously then got back to thinking of my coming university life.

"Do you think I should change my outlook on university? I mean get rid of the geek theme I always used in Highschool?"

"Nah. If you like it, then go with it. If you want to change it, just change it. We will be friends either way. Bro." I guess he was fine with both my personalities.
